AXHU Music Dramas frenzy at ANHUIBAIXI THEATER

For Jun 10 to 12, the AXHU-issued “Music Drama Night—Best Collection,” co-staged by the AXHU College of Music, anhuiyanyiGroup, ANHUIBAIXI THEATER Operation Management Co., LTD., ANHUI HUANGMEI OPERA THEATER, agitated the audience members’ passion with all the performers’ youth vigour and charm of performing arts, event while rejuvenated with the unprecedented diversities-provoking in steering the public views of how to represent the essences of the Chinese traditional culture lasting for its own unquestionable excellence at any point in the new era.

The playbook was filled with many world-reputed classical sections of College-reserved repertoire all, comprised of The Greatest Showman, The Phantom Of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, as well as the Chinese originals such as BUTTERFLIES, THE PIANO IN A FACTORY, LONG JOHNS AND ROLLING PIN, Tough Love, “MAMMA MIA!” Medley, and other welcome contents highly popular among young people.

During the entire process on stage, the selected songs of 13 are seamlessly strung to mark their internal ‘soliloquy’ emotionally in that romantic veins, which fully displayed musical visions in kinds of aesthetic narration, while spanning across the artistic potentials therein, —shifting from opening lyrics to astonishing vibes, and then fusing completely into the silhouette of the nuanced chant-style musical appeal that is nothing but a great paean to pride ourselves on the national culture confidence in our great times.

This culture event aims to synchronize multiple resources of performing art with both a test of AXHU-wide disciplinary transformation in aesthetic education and innovative scholarly exploration of some new ways paving for that with an university-enterprise cooperative support as widely as possible to dovetail with the public culture service priorities via a closer combination of higher education talent policies and local culture market-driven solutions, which could have been functioning as a high-quality practical cradle for nourishing the young students in the field of arts.

Meanwhile, this performance that is enjoying a revival proven particularly valuable in the digital world and by means of renewing traditional fashion trends, will actually make the citizens’ culture life varied, colorful, and plentiful amounts of vigor, wellness, happiness, and much more.  

In the future, the College of Music’s development approach will continue to try on the “Stage-based Learning & Training” and in the symbolic accolade of talent cultivation—stepped-up from “Teaching, Practicing, Creating, to Launching”—to secure the proactive effects on teaching innovation & reform in this romantic area.

During that, all the members involved should stride in confidence toward the surprising career on consensus of “clear-cut positioning, stellar features, edge-leading academics, sophisticated conditions of infrastructure, and sterling popularity” on co-establishing the regional, high-level music education institution.

Thus, faring well in offering much more high-quality programs in the real scenes is projected to advance the College-style Art Education when welcomed spiritually in massification, while putting in ‘stages’ the excellent talent policies urged by the MOE.
