Recently, the AXHU students and faculty members walked to the award ceremony at the 10^th edition of ‘Milan Design Week’ CHINA COLLEGIAT DESIGN COMPETITION & EXHIBITION (Anhui), after winning the provincial-level awards of 59, including 11 First-Prize, 24 Second-Prize, and 24 Third-Prize.

According to the official notice from the board of competition, the awardees eligible in the first place and the runner-up will be directly heading for the 2026 national finals.

At the same time, the process also prominently embodies the growing outcomes based on the AXHU-wide new drive in the disciplinary construction of Arts Design and applied talent cultivation in general.    

The Week appearing in sharp razor contrast, as the design & exhibition-heavy platform special for the on-campus teachers and students of Arts Design, which aimed to deepen the higher education reform, to enhance the innovation design practices, and to promote the professionalized talent to embrace the future of the relevant industry ‘revolutionary’ development, while, during that scene worth sharing the newest innovation research to advance academic knowledge that can be transformed into much more facts, bringing together a swath of excellent design works across China.

The innovation competition event, spanning Visual Communication, Product Design, Environmental Design, Digital Media Art, and other leading edge areas, focused on not only a combination of the China’s outstanding culture traditions and the local iconic elements being aligned with the trending gateways in the new era, but also an in-depth integration of innovative thinking and professional capabilities in the real world, so that the continuing engagement can generate a massive number of sterling artistic facts characterizing with the culture connotation, artistic values, and positive impact on social massification.

Officially, going through rounds of exams or reviews of the judge system, AXHU-initiated original works ramped up their own way to the national levels, not just academic fundamentals, but also transformative strengths, could later take them to (the) AXHU Dream.

Over the past years, the AXHU administration has always been adhering to the educational ideas of “Competition-driven teaching, learning, and innovating,” leveraging the ‘weights’ of the current students’ innovative, practical competence, and establishing the competitive environments all-level in which all the faculty members and students could fasten their hands to the ongoing engagement with their academic transformation and breakthroughs as a whole in regard to the university-enterprise cooperative educational practices (Incl. the competition-based training programs), which is due to power the students’ career by majors and specialties, pace themselves with the ‘ideological’ innovation, and boost their own enabling actions, and prioritize the defining traits of MOE-initiated applied talent policies as well as the cultivation solutions to prove the far value throughout the AXHU Education traditions.  

The observations over the academic transformation of success one after another along with AXHU-type educational reform to strengthen disciplinary co-building and to prepare much more innovation talents, must lead up to a wider academic innovation space where the AXHU people’s confidence in improving educational levels and qualities shall be activated in the real-world transformation process, while, most importantly, contributing their knowledge and strengths to the regional development of culture innovation industries and their own generous services both for booming all-China economic construction and for materializing the ‘Shared Future’ time-honored over the world.
