Recently, the two added undergraduate programs, namely, the Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering and the Intelligent Aircraft Technology, were incorporated to AXHU Education, according to the MOE-released official order, regarding the national-level reviews and assessments, for approvals of “Chinese General Higher Education Repertoire of Academic Programs 2025.”
On demand of the rapid updates to high-end equipment manufacturing industries based in Anhui province and the Yangtze River Delta, the Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering program, focusing on cultivating a massive number of new-type talent equipped with an integrative career of “Manufacturing + Information + Management,” who shall be competent and adequate for the intelligent production line design, operation and maintenance system, application of industrial big data, will establish a practical education architecture, featuring in “basic techniques + engineering specialty integration + innovative application” that goes up three-step at a pretty steep gradient, which can be well based on the current AXHU-wide provincial-level first-class specialties construction involved in mechanical design, manufacturing and automation, or other branches.
To underpin such challenging ideas with the teaching (or training) solutions will turn to the core curriculum structure of “Enterprise Operation Scheme + Industry-Academia Joint Mentorship,” e.g., the 40% of the teaching cases are from the leading tech businesses, such as Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. (Hefei), Circuit Fabology Microelectronics Equipment Co., Ltd., and other hi-tech institutes, representing the transformative industry-level production in the real world, in which the college students can fulfill the training series, spanning programming of industrial robots, debugging of digital twin systems, intelligent production line optimization, and much more.
As for the program of Intelligent Aircraft Technology, so did the AXHU Education want its existing academic strengths to support, to some extent, the national strategy for emerging industry layouts of low-altitude economy, by means of framing a mixed curriculum system comprising the “theoretical fundamentals, New Tech-driven transformations, integration between disciplines,” covering Aerodynamics, Aircraft Control technology, Intelligent Perception & Information Fusion, or other key aspects-and for preparing high-quality applied talents of mastering the fundamental theories of Control & Application for design of intelligent aircraft products, while acquiring a great amount of innovative capabilities during the interdisciplinary practices.
Being aligned with dozens of national enterprises’ new productive forces of impact, such as Hefei Research Institute of Intelligent Drone Systems, Beijing Zhongke Xiangyu Information Technology Co., Ltd., the program design as scheduled to build up the educational innovation framework of “projects-driven teaching, learning and practising in immersive manufacturing environments,” during which the students themselves can get accessible to the core workshops of assembly & debugging process, flight control system development, as well as other innovation research developments.
The two academic areas of new technology engineering have been embedded in the 2026-30 AXHU Education 0f upholding the views of “New Quality Productivity” to optimize the professionalized cluster’s format to boost the regional economy.
Significantly, AXHU administration is already ready, willing, and available for the People’s Government of Anhui Province initiative, namely, ‘1188’ Deployment For Modern Industrial System Construction, while targeting the talent cultivation in the critical domains, via strictly implementing the standardized construction on agenda, widely gathering high-quality faculty members and researchers, efficiently collecting the multi-resource due to university-industry joint guarantee for high-level experiments and field trips, and philosophically accelerating the revisions especially in the beginning on the education plans of zooming in synergistic effects to secure the regional emerging industries to altogether fulfill the national mission in new era.
