AXHU student’s double wins at 2026 China Roller Skating Open

The event wrapped up in Tianping Lake Scenic Area of Tai’an City, Shandong province, on May 17, 2026.

AXHU delegates won two gold medals in the disciplines of freestyle slalom and speed slalom, respectively, whose active engagements were demonstrating the student-athletes’ sportsmanship in vigor, of challenges, and for happiness in leading their own campus life to be forever marked hopefully and significantly.  

Organized by CHINA ROLLER SKATE ASSOCIATION, offering this time a wider range of categories, however, at the highest levels to more than 1,000 candidates in 83 delegations from 50 universities and colleges, who all get themselves extremely joyful while enjoying in a frenzy of ‘speed & passion & stunt’ to compete within a multiple of disciplines comprising ‘crossing, halting, jumping, sprinting’ and testing more than that skills imposed as a walk-on under the individuals’ controls of the physical coordination, on-the-spot adaptability, competitive psychological conditions, or other add-ons.   

Showing off new tricks at zero-failure rate, the top-seeded AXHU squad’s bold, swift,  smooth, but stable techniques over the basic movement patterns, were exercised even strongly by both REN Xinrui and LIU Mengya after mastering throughout their preliminaries to the finals in freestyle slalom and speed slalom,—finally being recognized with the champion, respectively, by the jury panel official, and receiving a standing ovation from the audience member, meanwhile.   

Amazingly, when challenging the top difficulty level , Ren notched the ranking 4^th of the ‘X Jump’ discipline, while Liu recorded 5^th placement at the ‘Freestyle Slides’.    

Prior to the formal matches base on a long haul of intensive training plan after-school on campus, when on the venue, engaged side-to-side with the captivating competition series between the national top-level players, later, AXHU student-athletes heads-up during that have been interpreting a unique glamour of sports world with their own well-reserved, professional performance while in braving the spiritual connotations of “Citius, Altius, Fortius” to shape the AXHU Education future of staying at forceful momentum always not only in the field of Roller Skating, but also to its comprehensive innovation development, via rationally self-imposed challenges on which AXHU community did anyhow as the traditional heirs to establish the overall Chinese higher education in eminences.
