AXHU Shuttlecock Team on the road to world championships

Successfully, co-organized by the Center for Social Sports Guidance of the General Administration of Sport of China and CHINESE SHUTTLECOCK AND ROPE SKIPPING ASSOCIATION, National Shuttlecock Championships 2026, on Apr 28 to May 2, wrapped up in the city of Jianyang, Sichuan, China, which as the national-level sport event was gathering 453 student athletes in 49 delegations at universities and colleges.

During that, Team AXHU coached by Gen Ed Department young faculty WANG Tiantian bagged the gold medal of women’s three-member group competition and of women’s singles; silver of women’s doubles and of mixed doubles, and men’s singles (compulsory routine); 7^th ranking at the 4×30 Relay Round of mixed team competition, all of that making a history of AXHU in this disciplines is displaying their own naturally-gifted wisdom, well-matched strengths, and strong-willed sportsmanship.

Moreover, the Team AXHU, as the qualifiers of women’s three-member group competition, women’s singles, and mixed doubles, being in behalf of Chinese national teammates, will be facing the headwinds in the WORLD SHUTTLECOCK CHAMPIONSHIPS, during which AXHU’s younger student athletes will mark a new chapter, when beholding the Chinese youth’s professional image on the world-level sporting fields, in August of 2026, in the city of Hagen, Germany.

The nationwide event, as exceptionally, excessively mandated as the highest and most impactful rankings at the management board of China Shuttlecock Teams needed to be scaling up the incumbent size as soon as its final list of top-level Chinese players during the engagement series is concluded then and there, meanwhile, had also been so entwined with the Germany-issued norms and standards of sporting already, only toward this year’s top podiums.

All that has subconsciously supercharged all the players access plucky, as did progressively those youth coming from the possibles-filled AXHU too often, to the international platform to come up as hoped very soon as possible.  

Never giving up, but not anymore—high-spirited, full-fledged, harmonious teamwork appearance of AXHU players—while switching Offence-Defence sparklingly over the shuttlecock net, when breathlessly looking at their each kick, hit, and smash that makes the little ‘feather ball’ flashing to-and-fro ‘in lightening rounds,’ premeditatedly, tactically, happily.

Gamely, the game time of the women’s three-member’s engagement of staying professionally-coordinated, sturdily-progressing to edge out the preliminaries and then to cap their own performance during the finals.

Also, as did the members at the women’s or men’s singles’, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, challenge a journey to be awarded the laurel wreaths, who are fully interpreting the AXHU Motto: “Being Virtues, Pursuing Truth, Erudition, Innovation.”

Growing stronger day by day while racing up insistently and consistently for an extended training period to bring out exceptional achievements in the Campus Sport Culture, AXHU administration always makes far more efforts to create a pretty environment of “Healthy China Initiative” via PE-focused sportsmanship approaches to put in place the “Morality-based academic cultivation” combining the well-established educational infrastructures with the advanced sports competition system, which aims to help brace up all the students to be in a good “shape and mind” and become the new well-qualified socialist talent.

When taking home honors and awards, but the greatest mission of national rejuvenation in all aspects is going heavier ideologically on the current AXHU candidates being as the pillar parts of Team China fighting for the August’s starry games hosted by the International Shuttlecock Federation. AXHUers thus should humbly and confidently cooperate with other outstanding members across China to showcase the national athletic excellence and beauty of what the emerging glamour and charm is meant concretely to the Chinese new era.

Next, AXHU community will continue deliberating its innovation reform related to PE teaching and research on developing the Chinese traditional sports disciplines and stepping up the campus-wide sports levels, as well as its cultural significance in line with educationally “Making inroads into” the world stages and embracing the new chapters of AXHU Education practices boosting in Chinese honors and respects.
