‘Chu State’ Culture Takes Part in Modern Higher Education of China Charming—Shouxian County Culture & Tourism Promotions at AXHU

The culture & tourism promotion themed “Nourishing in Chu State Glamour” 楚韵寿州,常来长寿sponsored by the People’s Government of Shouxian County, Anhui province, was on its culturally gleamed trip to AXHU campus, Mar 31, 2026.

The attendees include: Shouxian County寿县vice governor Tong Li, Industry and Information Technology Department co-director ZOU Chun, and Shouxian Culture & Tourism Bureau chiefs; AXHU executive vice president WANG Li, assistant president WU Shan, chiefs of the Division of Public Relations; and the representatives of the current student, faculty and staff.   

In the beginning, all the members virtually touring many geological and humanistic scenes featured with the promotional videos official, like the massive stone walls surrounding of the ancient Chu State settlement, also the last capital, formerly known as Shou-Zhou寿州/Shou-Chun寿春, rare antiques at Chu State Culture Museum, Anfeng Lake Ecological Park, and other landmark resources based in the centuries-old Shouxian County divinely endowed with natural beauty of the mountains and rivers and historical stories. Being at the invitation of the moderator, the entrance of the distinguished guests took the stage to command its presence where all the members are united in the bonds of culture & tourism to make the government-university-industry innovation cooperation on the progressive site of AXHU Cohort 2026.

The inauguration addresses by Ms. Wang Li and Ms. Tong Li, respectively, went as follows:

“AXHU Education always highly reflects its capabilities at play to support the regional economic and cultural development,” Wang said. “This campus promotion event is now preparing an import opportunity that will admit a new, big view for our both sides’ efforts—fused in the resources-sharing, win-win cooperation areas of talent co-cultivation, academic field trips, in-field research of culture & tourism, university-industry innovation development and production—continued to aid the young students’ comprehensive growth of sustainability.”

Correspondingly, “the current stature and planning of the Shouxian-area culture industry’s sustainable future is on its historical origins of ‘The State of Chu/Chu State (simplified Chinese:楚国; traditional Chinese:楚國; pinyin: Chǔ Gúo), a Zhou Dynasty vassal state in present-day central and southern China during the Spring and Autumn period (722-481 BC) and Warring States Period (481-221 BC)’ [*source: Academic Dictionaries and Encyclopedias online],” Tong continued, “its welcome veins embedded clearly are representing a large number of indications of the local intangible cultural heritage to be enriched much more during our nationals’ preservation actions in the recent years.—So, there is a heartfelt invitation from Shouxian people to all beloved AXHUers: ‘Welcome to Shouxian, and to meet, know, and co-build the brand culture career of Nourishing in Chu State Glamour for the renewal cause of Chinese civilization in new era.”

Being showed with confetti at the iconic exhibition and with applause at the Question-and-Answer competition bonus, and sharing with the AXHU alum’s prior culture experiences to keep the historic tradition alive, AXHU graduate student ZOU Chun, now taking office as the vice director of the Department of Industry & Information Technology of Shouxian County, promoted in the depth of AXHU 2026 spring that “the beloved links through the Chinese cultural bonds” will make all the members forever reverberated with the echoes of my hometown abounding in the greatest national history.

Then, staged Shouzhou da-gu-shu寿州大鼓书, a folk art form of solo performance by telling the stories in historical classics while accompanying by drumbeats in rhythm and tones, was showcasing the indigenous cultural charms in the heart of intangible cultural heritage art appealing on campus, and more students and faculty in person were activated academically, moreover, with many a challenge during the faster times of Question-and-Answer award knowledge competition based on Shouxian-area culture and history, here, the promotion event won a hall of claps and laughs, —soundly, joyously spreading across the AXHU community.

The hand-in-hand progress to communicate the Shouxian-based Civilizations and its time-honored strength rooted in Chu-style heritages through the action content by forms of culture & tourism promotion, performance and exhibition of intangible culture elements, and multiple spiritual interactions, is embarking on a new journey to bridge the culturally distinctive cognition for all existing but in beautifully, deferentially and solicitously civilized claims to inject the new youth energy amounting to the huge reality of nationally cultural confidence, when regionally developing the quality of culture industries in the new era.

Next, the innovation development between Shouxian governmental industrialized drives and the ongoing AXHU educational facts will observe another chapter of high-quality transformation throughout the new pathways, new patterns, and new ideas to guarantee the intentions and views of Chinese national rejuvenation on all aspects.
