From Dec 24 thru 29, co-hosted by the Social Sports Guidance Center of General Administration of Sport of China, CHINESE SHUTTLECOCK ASSOCIATION, and The People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality (Huadu District), 2025 sporting event went off, gathering more than 2,400 athletes in 221 teams from 23 provinces (or municipalities and autonomous regions).
Team AXHU performed professionally and excelled in team work, sportsmanship, and competitive abilities that arise from their down-to-earth attitude and well-prepared, high-energy training earlier this year and earned seven gold, six silver, and four bronze at the finals.
During their uplifting engagement, all the players in China and internationally competed at speed and creativity in the world-class arena.
After AXHU JUMP ROPE Club claimed two gold, three silver, and one bronze at 2nd China University Jump Rope Championships, these young athletes achieved much more at this year’s high-intensity event: the final score of Single Rope Speed Sprint (1x30, male) taken by WANG Shuaishuai, LIU Junhui’s highest performance during the individuals match of Jump Rope Figure featuring his creative choreography and professionally steady techniques, both of whom were recognized by the judges and wider audience, and also other team members’ exciting breakthroughs came at the speed & agility team competition event, all of which benefit from and deserve their good workout at everyday practice at length and at leisure throughout the past years.
“The competitive experience during the finals makes us clearly aware of the ‘gap’ to those supreme athletes at the same time, while setting a new orientation to transcend ourselves in the near future,” GE Mengmeng told the official media. “From summer to winter, our team members’ dedication of intentionality to monthslong training program challenges until the present achievements all benefited from the AXHU-backed educational innovation efforts, the faculty coaches’ scientific instructions plus goal-setting technique, and mutual support fullheartedly among the members in AXHU JUMP ROPE Association.”
Furthermore, the “harvests” at this event had become the potential opportunities to enhance AXHU-wide jobs in the upper echelons of jump rope nationwide and then can help achieve much more in this area, WANG Shuaishuai said.
Actually, it is not only a time of high-level sports exchange to boom the international jump rope development, but also a demonstration of AXHU-based educational value-added supercharging with an idea of PE-driven methods for high-quality talent cultivation as a major part of supporting the Chinese University Students Jump Rope Sport league to a higher level.
In the upcoming year, the AXHU Gen Ed Department will continue to follow its educational practices featuring life-changing entree into the multiple ways to a broader promising sports zone where the younger college students are being shown during prime time known as “fully blooming” on AXHU campus.
