AXG Chairman WU Junbao along with the vice president, also AXHU Board of Trustees Chairman WANG Xiaowu, and other AXHU administrators and chief staffers, received the Laotian SOULIYAVONG Group president PHONSAVATH and Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs HUANG Xiaoxue, Dec 26, 2025, at AXG headquarters.

On behalf of AXG and AXHU, Wu welcomed, and briefed the mission, value, and views built on the framework of Chinese Belt and Road initiative, adding “the AXG’s overseas cooperative space is to be developed and created” with regard to a history of AXG, the professional position, and future planning in hope as one of the Chinese educational industries.
Today, “we value so much the potentially win-win co-building effect to materialize the high-quality international education cooperation with the famous national enterprises across Laos like SOULIYAVONG Group starting 2026, while exploring far more gateways anywhere to approach the multiple Group-level industrial operations that will be likely to increase, to a certain extent, the global impact of China-Laos economic strategy for geopolitical concerns over the shared future.”
“Thanks to AXG people’s homelike reception! What the educational facts by AXG come off just in the past over twenty years surprised us happily and encouragingly,” PHONSAVATH responded sincerely and expectantly.

“In recent years, the critical state-run engineering of transportation networks sat at Vientiane, serving as the political, economic, and cultural center of Laos, is sprawling to neighboring countries in a wide radius.” Therefore, there is still “a bigger gap for a massive number of international talents” in urban construction design and management and other specialists. And the AXHU disciplinary strengths and the oncoming graduates to be bridged, channeled in support for our national comprehensive development are warmly welcomed in the new era.
“If possible, to formalize some tentative approaches into the AXG-SOULIYAVONG cooperation agenda based on the groundings of China-Laos educational exchange for preparing talents with international views and other burgeoning spin-offs positively.”
After the hourslong meeting, both sides significantly reached a milestone treaty of “Founding of AXHU Campus at Laos.” AXHU Provost ZHAO Liangqing, the International Exchange and Cooperation director XU Ming, the School of International Education dean FAN Dongsheng, the executive dean CHENG Yi, and the School of Urban Construction executive dean WANG Qing attended the signing ceremony.
During that, all the expert leaders and acting managers discussed and shaped a raft of solutions on consensus, such as Laos-based School of Chinese language education, and moreover, copies of cooperative agreements had been stamped officially for the future actions from 2026-30.
In the afternoon, PHONSAVATH and his fellows continued the tour into AXG affiliates to further more cooperative possibility as much as possible.
According to Chinese State Council, the nation of Laos is the one of the core members of Belt and Road Initiative. As a flagship educational entity SOULIYAVONG College of Engineering and Technology, launched and engineered by SOULIYAVONG Group, the people are dedicated themselves to educating high-quality talents via a wide range of international cooperation and collaboration to take effect in the long run.
AXG, upholding the Belt and Road strategy based on the ASEAN Community-initiated international education drive, committed successfully a time of international exchange and cooperation by sharing high-quality educational resources with the influential Laotian SOULIYAVONG Group and vice versa to promote humanistic communications and the regionally synchronized development altogether.
