2025 Exchange and Collection of National Foreign Languages Teaching Cases Excellence in Ideological & Political Drive

The exchange event came to an end at Chongqing University on Nov 22, 2025, co-hosted by the National Advisory Committee on Teaching Foreign Languages in Higher Education under the Ministry of Education (MOE), HIGHER EDUCATION PRESS, Higher Education Institutions Teacher Online Training Center, and Foreign Languages in China Publishing House.

 

 

The AXHU delegation with the School of Foreign Studies, including HAO Liang, WANG Chunxiao, LIU Qian, WANG Bingrui, LIANG Bingqian, and ZHANG Yu, earned the Top Award in the category of College English course in general education and a second prize of Teaching on English Majors, meanwhile, the AXHU team was awarded the “BEST Organizing Unit,” in regard to the School’s not only teaching practice & research outcomes, but AXHU-wide organizing capacities, with that to have a double win at the national level.

 

 

Starting in May, 2025, the competition season has gathered 3,620 teachers from 567 universities and colleges of China, totally collecting 1,037 works during the preliminaries, and later only 138 joined the finals (of which 104 pieces were officially selected to the on-site exchange activities).

 

Earlier this year, throughout the Anhui-wide university competition series, the School’s curriculum case titled “Song of Freedom” by the faculty LI Jing’s teaching & research group (of College English as AXHU general education) and the case of “The Collision and Co-existence of the Wisdom of Chinese and Western Medicine” by LI Yating’s team (of research and teaching on the English majors), achieved the most basic framework beforehand for the efficient teamwork coming in continuum with widely common efforts to step up toward this national academic stage.

 

There, standing alongside the expert teachers nationwide, but being in some good positions of making themselves a difference, the delegates focus their transformative ways and innovative ideas on the 2025’s competition-special themes to refine the teaching designs highlighting their competitive edges therein by integrating the Chinese socialist core values-shaped discourses into the everyday foreign languages teaching practices, and, moreover, representing the full contents detailed in their logical proceedings, such as the Q&A’s engaged with their own real-time profound understanding to generate the corresponding solutions also, be accurate, professional, sensible in the high-efficient communicative contexts, which became a time of absolutely outstanding in this field.   

 

To reinforce the AXHU-wide educational structure by introducing the MOE-initiated  Ideological & Political education drive, to take advantage of a great boon of teaching reform, faculty training, and innovative accesses, and to combine with a large number of  dynamic links to the elements philosophically to enrich, transform, and boost the higher education foreign languages teaching traditions, all the School of Foreign Studies academics and administrators will continue to materialize more pragmatic cases by such high-quality, extended transformation and to engine their innovative capacities, to inject an impetus to AXHU-wide quality educational development, and to prepare a massive number of all-round foreign languages talent in the new era.
