Recently, with the School’s annual documentations, officially announcing the “increasing number of disciplinary achievements” by many of the academics, who are still being more active before the end of 2025, and vested with the responsibilities for teaching reform and ongoing innovation, such as “Competition-driven Teaching, Learning, and transforming,” while braving a long way that leads to the feel-good accountability by themselves of what kind of higher education providers would be practical for giving an impact on the AXHU-educated talents of Art, the 14 awards and honors at the national or provincial level, which all are eligible on the list (of 53-item in total) of “2024 Chinese General Higher Education Teaching Competitions and Teachers’ Development Index,” have proved the importance and significance in the process that all the faculty, students, and staff want to be fully prepared and also training with such new ideas to a higher level.
Digital creativity, teaching innovation, both outshining in multiple areas
These breakthroughs, spanning Digital Media, Metaverse Technology, Creative Design, and others edge-cutting, demonstrated the current faculty members’ ability to influence in breadth and depth, academically.

During the 8th National Competition for Digital Creative Teaching Skills (NCDCTS) in Sept, 2025, the China’s Top Disciplinary Competition series in the field of digital creativity and digital art education, the faculty delegates earned two national Second-Prize as well as two provincial Second-Prize by means of their content courses, methods, and tech toolkit, which aims to transform the abstract theoretical knowledge into some vivid classroom activities being on the digital era’s trend.

And during THE 6TH NATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION TEACHERS’ TEACHING METAVERSE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION COMPETITION, their seasonal harvest of its two Second-Prize and one Third-Prize at the national level observed the success of the School-wide teachers in their tenure-ready struggle for the sci-tech fronts in Chinese educational technology revolution and investigations into certain teaching form’s future, to be exact, the newest track of the MOE initiatives’ is already pioneering a higher portion of research-strong teachers nationwide to challenge the high-tech production of teaching practices, for example, involving in virtual reality, AI big models, or other METAVERSE conceptualization-turned attempts, while paired with a wide range of leading teacher researchers for the high performance across Chinese higher education institutions or professional institutes.

Moreover, the School’s delegation headed to 3rd Oriental Creative Star Teaching Innovation Award in Nov, 2025, and won one silver, two bronze at the national industry-level event—stressing a combination of artistic and commercial values at the same time, with that the AXHU people’s academic works have publicly showcased not only their high-end artistic tastes in the esthetic features when potentially making inroads around the world’s market, but also kinds of humanistic care with some profound insights into the ergonomic environments.

Meanwhile, at another nationally sweeping academic activity, i.e., 13th National Art & Design Teachers Teaching Innovation Contest-FUTURE DESIGNER AWARDS, which was originally projected for testing whether the overall teaching design of teachers’ can work out systematically, innovatively for the students’ comprehensive capacities growing in the real world, the School’s delegation claimed two Third-Prize at the provincial-level preliminaries too.

The School-backed faculty hope to contrive more refined works

Seeing these prize-awarding engagements in 2025, which is a time of forceful ‘translations’ plus most expressive ‘footnoting’ to AXHU Education history: the School’s educational practices have been steadfastly developed not only to inspire themselves to deepen teaching reform by a team of first-class academics and managers in their tenure, but also to move them forward into a great landscape of AXHU future, featuring high-quality teaching and research on the groundings.
Also, the education leaders will remain strong—always, according to the AXHU’s mission, value, and views, and urge their colleagues, fellows, and partners to challenge any potentials of innovative breakthroughs in the coming years, and via trying on and playing out the newest methods and approaches to their common ideals and beliefs, which will be able to put into meaningful higher education action in enforceability to educate and contribute, and channel much more top AXHU-style talents for overall Chinese social progress.
