Recently, the finals closed at Wuhan Institute of Technology.
The delegation in AXHU School of Electronic Engineering/Intelligent Manufacturing worked well at the nationally technical event in fall 2025, while there showing the current students’ innovation competence and specialized qualification, and achieved a lot: one Second Prize (at national-level); as well as one First Prize, two Second Prize, four Third Prize (in the category of the Yangtze River Delta).
This year’s edition was sponsored by the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, which as a not-for-profit professional organization is to push the college students’ innovative practices for a well-developed engineering career, totally this time receiving 1,923 works from 201 Chinese universities and colleges (across the regional preliminaries at the school- and provincial level), of which the nominations and candidates qualified for the finals amount to 685,—as for the ‘Independent Innovation Track,’ comprising: 138 First Prize, 187 Second Prize, and 236 Third Prize.
Starting in its beginning, in the face of the high-end disciplinary race nationwide, which has taken on an outsize role in this field while with the growing numbers to participate into in recent years, the Team AXHU members, led by the School’s faculty QIAO Hongjiao, not only featured their own specialized strengths, teamwork spirit, and innovative ideas, but also later achieved the awards as hoped, after steering so thoroughly that their academic works stand out from the Board of Experts’ pack of professional reviews, evaluations, and assessments on site.
Based on AXHU’s motto—Being Virtues; Pursuing Truth; Erudition; Innovation, which will continue to put in places its innovative practices of educating the current students’ capabilities in solving the industrial complex mattering in engineering, and at the same time, to build up a higher disciplinary platform, on which they can be trained to the positions, so as to increase the volume of younger talent professionally into the Chinese new quality productive forces.
