Recently, the College Students’ Intercultural Competence Contest (CSICC) of Anhui Province wrapped up at Anhui University, into which the Team AXHU comprising the current international students in the AXHU School of International Education—being instructed by its tenured faculty ZUO Liya, XUE Zhongshui, and LIU Rongqing throughout the academic course—: TAN Fengying谭凤莹 and SU Xiuhuan苏秀欢 (Indonesia), and SU He苏和 (Mongolia), learned and bettered, and received a third prize of ‘Internationally Chinese Language Group’ at the finals, while making lots of the Chinese and International friends both at the intercollegiate event, featuring Anhui-area foreign college students’ Intercultural Priorities in general on campus, and being always replenished with sweet odors scenting in 2025’s FRUITS-favored autumn.      

There are lots of college delegations of excellence across Anhui province, such as from Anhui University, Hefei University of Technology, Anhui Normal University, those competitive international students who have been studying there their bachelor’s, master’s programs, as well as working for doctoral career.

AXHU international delegates look-alike behaving in a reserved but confident manner, though for less than one year, most of them are first-years after joining AXHU education.

Ranking fourth at the event—professionally, tied with Anhui Normal University, seen from their contextualized ability of conceptual expressions in Chinese language, intercultural communication, top-level moves on interpretation and coordination in venue, high-profile concerted teamwork, down-to-earth attitude, and much more, the achievements this time literally deserved their own passion, dedication, and reasoning of themselves taking up such meaningful position to embrace international academic career, while as the beneficiaries far-reaching.

Meanwhile, all the faculty—being in diligence, confidence, and romance—at AXHU School of International Education are greatly encouraged with that to be much clearer of what they had had been committed themselves to the everyday basic job of teaching and research over the years, which is, however, just on the Chinese higher education’s mission in a new era, globally.

All the School’s members ahead of time, turned earnestly to the phased training series targeted with an array of detailed competition designs, allotments, and assignments based on the Chinese classical scripts, and led up to a materialization in an absolute embodiment of on-stage performance filled with the foreign youth’s wisdom and endeavors in regard to disciplinary constructivism systematically that includes the original structure as well as its iterations ongoing in contentedness to spark a spectrum of these overseas students’ academic potentials and then to be transformed with their solid groundings, which are steeped in Chinese educational tradition of regarding “Language & Culture” as amiable mediators to bridge the gaps, limitations, or barriers, psychologically, against the backdrop of globalization in real life, so as to make a sense of global influences, covering international visions, humanistic exchange tour, dynamic formations of cross-linguistic adapting to continue being with popular but accurate exercises, intercultural commonality, virtual-reality channels and approaches, like naturally-gifting afara available from afar to feature its vigorous diversity, anyplace, with the CSICC 2025’s multi-functional values on all sides growing higher and higher in the midst of Anhui area.

Looking at “Competition-style Learning & Teaching” at much higher levels, the AXHU innovative practice is already and always on the way to make a difference in this field.

After several years’ ‘hibernation’ since the COVID lockdowns worldwide, symbolically, those accolades are specially endowed with, by, and for all parts involved, comprising the students, families, authorities, providers, and other supporters in the world, China, Anhui, and AXHU community also, who are now behaving both positive and active, and who are  determinate to plow a path to the following international education challenges and opportunities on a roll, altogether embracing a seasonal landscape of fruitfulness, splendors, and brightness over the international education communities.
