From 27-30, Aug, the MOE Supervision Board for Higher Education of Logistics and the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP) co-organized the finals of the 9th edition in the city of Huzhou, Zhejiang province.
In the AXHU School of Business’s behalf, the candidate team named ‘Artisans Riding On Tides’ won the first prize nationally, as just one out of 33 higher learning institutions (of bachelor’s and master’s programs) totally based in Anhui province, which submitted its original model design of ‘Circular Rail Guided Vehicle (RGV)’ to the organizing committee by which after a series of evaluation and assessment on the competition agenda, the prize-awarding work is officially recommended to a centerpiece of the Exhibition Hall of Achievements.
Dating back the year of 2007, the disciplinary even had been granted by MOE authority, and since joined its Quality Engineering plans recognized as National A-Group Competition, referring to the “MOE-led Evaluation & Assessment Index and Academic Contests Listings.”
Fruitfully, the autumn event’s 14 candidate cases are centered around the local core industries—‘Wuxing-wide logistics equipment’ and ‘Children’s apparel’—to be transformed and updated according to the state policies relevant to step up the national, industrial, and corporate development, apparently because of the urgent needs to the modern way that they would be closely, thoroughly attached to the key part of the Chinese macro-economy deploying on the industry trend, such as high-quality, digital intelligence, AI enabling, and so on, providing a more direct link to tackle some hot spots, on-again, off-again difficulties unfolded in the real time, long-lasting cruxes, or others.
Starting in April, 2025, the event had had brought together 757 college teams from 375 Chinese universities and colleges.
Under a supervision of AXHU tenured faculty members PENG Shanshan and ZHU Fang, Team AXHU of ‘Artisans Riding On Tides,’ including NIU Jiahui, LI Yan, WANG Jie, XU Yulun, and YUAN Xueqing, presented the work report “A Design of RGV Based on Deep Learning to Stabilize and Secure Intralogistics via Intelligent Scheduling System + Multiple Stock Keeping Units,” focusing their research of driving innovative impact on automated circular RGV’s multi-solution for smart handling of storage and retrieval at complex, heavy-load racks, which was receiving a range of appraises from the experts and specialists, and later earned the national award honorarily.
So, the School of Business administration will take it as another starting point to amplify the outcomes of teaching and research, via consolidating its practical teachings, deepening the educational reform, building up a multi-dimensional competition platform, on which the AXHU’s specialized education can prepare much more high-quality talents of logistics, characterizing with the national spirit, social responsibility, and innovative capability at a professional level.
