From Jun 25 to Jul 1, the 7-day summer program of tour study special for the Mongolian college students concluded successfully at AXHU, the visiting 13-member group of students and faculty based in the Ulan Bator, Darkhan or elsewhere, has had covered an exotic significant journey for enriching their current academic career of excellence in a broader sense, meanwhile, not only taking the view of “All the youth worldwide on the way to a shared future” should know and respect each other’s national history and culture—spiritually, materially—exhibiting a high level of longstanding civilization,” but also taking the steps in person to referring locally to much of its existential cultural, educational, economic, industrial...actions, really having the advantages to be authentic in the contents and forms.
Altogether, at the closing ceremony chaired by AXHU vice president HE Xingjia, they merrily retrieved the just past week’s live experience series, when fully supported and sponsored by the AXHU International Office, including the short-term academic curricular activities on AXHU campus; tours into the local famous businesses, the state-of-the-art workshops, some humanistic and natural landscapes in Hefei City; as well as many historically iconic achievements at the ‘Hall of Fame’ exhibitions.
Memorably, in the wake of the Thursday’s opening ceremony, thoughtfully and conscientiously, where the director of AXHU International Exchange and Cooperation Office XU Ming on behalf of AXHU administration presented them with the ‘Summer Camp Banner’ to the faculty Darcy as the group representative, a senior visiting scholar in international higher education, and then he raised the blue flag, saying “we hope that this international exchange would have charted a new starting point for Sino-Mongolian younger people to further any connections and collaborations to enhance their academic potentials of excellence.”
At first, after paying a visit to the AXHU museum, teaching & research departments, key laboratories, campus attractions, and more, they spoke highly of the AXHU-wide educational accomplishments of impact thereof.
More particular on the agenda was the cultural experience into the Anhui Museum on Jun 27 than they expected at the pavilions: ‘Anhui Civilization History Exhibition’ and ‘Huizhou Ancient Architecture,’ where the foreign students have a deeper feel of the Chinese ancient artisans’ great wisdom and creative ideas from the Anhui-wide cultural relics across many distinctive categories.
For the next day’s trip to the Anhui Museum of Historical Notables, Anhui Art Museum, and Anhui Innovation Pavilion, respectively, there they conducted ‘dialogue’ with a number of historical personages through the 3D technology in the front-projected holographic display; had a time of simulation drawing of the classical works from the Xin’an School of Painting booming in the Ming and Qing dynasties; and marveled at a batch of new sci-tech achievements in the areas of quantum communication, artificial intelligence, and the like.
Surprisingly, “this is another day of having a real eye-opener in our lives, seeing a full rollout of Anhui-style attributes to the essence, ” Darcy put his feelings into simple words.
As planned on the early morning of Jun 29, to discover the Indigenous cultural wealth displayed at the LIU-YUAN Ancient Huizhou Culture Park would have surprised these international younger guests—exclaiming latter in delight that the “tradition & heritage feature in its own expressions will always be fresh in our minds.”
Earlier in the afternoon, they also headed for the CHAOHU LAKESHORE NATIONAL WETLAND PARK HEFEI ANHUI, where the scenic area guide helps them know much more data and facts there created studiously by the diligent natives while shaping a conspicuously natural landscape—corresponding to the All-China initiative ‘Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets’—after years of efforts to put the regional ecological conservation actions in stride.
Stepping into one of AXHU-wide training centers based on QINSONG GROUP, Jun 30, they, along with the instructors and mentors to come closer to its modern-day sci-tech entity as the leading food industry in the city of Hefei, visited the ‘Standardization Processing’ workshops, food testing centers, cold-chain logistics, and other departments, clearly acquired many of knowledge-transformed manufacturing practices involved in the current content courses taught at AXHU campus like Food Safety Inspection, Pastry Craftsmanship, and more.
At the ‘conclusion’ meeting, the Mongolian student representative Husile said passionately, “the program gave us a number of striking impressions of Hefei City, where we received the AXHUers’ hospitality and generosity, formed many of lifelong friendships, enjoyed much of the Anhui-featured tradition in fine arts, architecture, and cuisine, especially for the tasty snacks embedded at food stalls along the either side of some ancient streets and alleys, while hanging out into the hustle and bustle of Hefei night market.
After returning home, “we ourselves will like to take on a new identity as China-Mongolia goodwill student ambassador” to communicate what we had experienced during the 7-day travel around the AXHU community for our nationals, families, and classmates who want to learn about the Chinese new stories in new era, some students asserted.
“Since being as a college envoy qualified for the future of both nations, we should, to be exact, push and put the joint academic research practices in place through the collegiate interactions in versatility, which would have been deepen into our common grounds,” He repeated favorably.
At last, a group picture was taken to record their ‘AXHU moment’ with the camp banner unfolding in front of all the program members.
As part of their academic career during 2025 summer, the Mongolian teen influencers had attempted a record trip of upholding the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ exercises based on AXHU international community, Hefei, China, with which AXHUers will continue to expand the cooperative opportunities for a wider network of international educational innovations to adhere steadfastly to a shared future that will remain loyal and faithful to mutual understanding, inclusion, equality...
