2025 summers key achievements by AXHU School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence

Based on this year’s summer programs initiated by the School faculty members, a number of academic wins at some of important professional events of China come to light one after another, all of which prove in a way the internal teaching reform research and innovative educational exercises that is already appearing effective and ready immediately, while showcasing, to the great extent, its own strengths and potential eligibility to have more big-time in the current disciplinary fields.  

 

 

@ Anhui-wide college competition for teaching cases of model role

 

The School’s delegation still excelled in the final round, and historically claimed its first award as one of the finalists at the Anhui Higher Education CS Education Competition 2025 edition (teaching cases), which had gathered a larger number of CS researchers and faculty members being active in the Anhui-based higher education institutions, with an aim to deepen the education reform in computer sciences and to promote the institutional development of cultivating innovation-style talent.

 

Through official screening and expert reviews across all the levels, the delegates’ works are accredited: Exceptionally, faculty ZHU Xueling-led excelsior curriculum case of Digital Circuits and Logic Programming—Taximeter Simulation System won the first prize; LI Lian the second prize; SHI Xiangui, PAN Yifeng, CAO Tiancheng, ZHAO Ang, respectively, third prize, whose new ideas of innovation design to feature a mix of teaching and training available both online and in person, and multiple approaches in the projects-based study cycle, arguing not only the high-level theoretical conceptualization, but the ‘ground-effect’ in the practical fields, are particularly recognized by the senior experts, the peer contestants, or other out-of-competiton computer fans and proponents too.

 

Also many leading specialists and prestigious scholars from, like, the National University of Defense Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Nankai University, and other institutes, meanwhile, have altogether pioneered a journey to the fronts, throughout their long discussions at the theme seminar series on disciplinary construction and teaching innovation in the higher learning systems, actually offering AXHU Education much of insights and inspirations for its own original plan on the newer grounds.   

 

@ PECC2025

 

Jointly, launched by the MOE Secretariat of China University Computer Education, Computer Education Research Association of Chinese Universities, Donghua University, and Tsinghua University Press, the PECC 2025 has already championed a swath of newly-developed educational solutions in computer sciences, providing the front-line faculty members or CS researchers with many further granular details on growing their innovative capacities at a higher level, when engaged in teaching practices of Program Design, Competitive Programming, Algorithmics, first-class courses, high-quality text books, and much more.

 

The Award Ceremony, moreover, went on for the academic excellence of research papers or program designs, during which the director of the School’s teaching research group of Software Engineering WANG Meirong, the ‘skeleton’ instructor LI Lian, as well as the dual combination of the newest faculty members: HAN Wenwu and JI Qiankun, respectively, received the second prize.

 

In recent years, those academic successes in a row at the national- or provincial-level teaching competitions and contests clearly embodied their entire educational performance of excellence and the innovative abilities.

 

Especially, when concluded with the two big events aforesaid, the School’s scholarly sparklers have and will continue to conduct the mode of ‘Seminar + Competition’ to establish a philosophical vision of extensive inquiries to comprehensively consolidate the disciplinary foundations on which some new ideas of teaching and research can work well.

 

Thus, to take advantage of the shared ‘outcomes & experiences’ official during such preeminent academic activities is the School’s administrative and educational attempt on-field, as to the ‘first-rate disciplinary architecture’ staunchly being aligned with the high-quality talent standards in forms and contents, which should factor into how the go-to exercises everyday on campus could transform the ‘ongoing teaching reform and innovation’ in the coming days, months, and years.
