The 10th National Contest On Logistics Simulation Design by University Students wrapped up on Wednesday, Nov 20, 2024, which brought together 1,217 delegates (Incl. 826 undergraduate groups) at universities and colleges across China.

And both Team XOXO and Team LITTLE SUNFLOWER, respectively, led by faculty Gao Lin and WANG Dan at the AXHU School of Business, claimed the special prize at the 2024 competition of Smart Warehouse Logistics & Management. 

Hosted by China Logistics Productivity Promotion Center, the “Competition-Empowered Skills & Performance” event aims to accelerate the overall teaching reform and development of the Logistics programs at Chinese higher education institutions, to co-foster high-quality professionals and practitioners via high-efficient learning and research in the field, and to back the graduates’ career goals, self-actualization, and leadership in the subject-specific areas. 

Rolling out with a big map, the School’s academic board took the stage for a complete rally this year, weighing in on some possible outcomes in realistic expectations of the disciplinary engagement via lab-based teachings and training intensive on campus over time, while offering as much practical knowledge, technical advances, and funding as they can access and afford to help the candidate students perform better in the finals.

To keep track of the prep schemes and solutions, which are really working step-by-step in many of the real-world operating environments later, according to the team members.

“Challenging the less-than-perfect activities in the timeline, we are overseeing those not uncommon difficulties but attempt to capture any factors to optimize our science team’s commitments otherwise, sparking the areas of workflow management, prediction technique, Qualitative association diagram, and other outreach programs extended at the logistics centers.”

Consequently, a steady stream of wins had come out, showing how high the current Logistics students’ spirit of academic pursuits is at the School level-and what beneficial facts they could generate during such industry-level events nationwide.

In particular, the team’s superb research capacities of co-designing in both innovation and transformation around this time was professionally recognized by the Contest work committee.

Mounting on a career of “Learn-to-Transform” with outbound exchange programs based on the disciplinary competition at AXHU School of Business and beyond, the next-generation applied talents will come to be and take center stage in the modern Logistics industry worldwide, which is forecasting the world-changing impact of China’s higher education in the new area.
