Recently, the final stretch of 11^th Chinese Youth Entrepreneurship Competition (of rural revitalization programming) went off in the city of Zhangzhou, Fujian province, which was co-hosted by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, Ministry of Commerce, National Health Commission, P.R.C., State Taxation Administration, the People’s Government of Fujian Province, as well as other public sectors.

And AXHU task force’s commitment with an initiative of “Sci-Tech-empowered Aesthetic Experience—A New Taste of Chinese Tea Culture” directed by current undergraduate student ZHANG Youai in the School of Big Data & Artificial Intelligence harvested a bronze at the three-day state-level event.

Themed “The Youth Striving for Modernization With Chinese Characteristics,” this activity provided the full breadth of professional services and financial aids for the dedicated young people across China with skills training, demo and exchange platform, counselling and instructing in person, capital pooling and channeling, and more, which includes 5,496 project-based teams in the preliminary round.

At last, 140 projects are qualified for the national semifinals/finals, among which the AXHU design thinking edged out and won a bronze medal in the category of rural revitalization. 

Specifically, the organizing committee also offered a series of initiatives and theme activities, such as the symposium of “Answering the Call to Rejuvenation: The Youth’ Collective Efforts and Wisdom;” propaganda campaign for Chinese Rural Revitalization initiated by Chinese young pioneers; “DOU Plan” Boot Camp for Young Bellwethers; Featured Exhibition for young entrepreneurs-run projects of excellence; seminars and conferences on Innovation & Business Startups by young people in Zhangzhou and Taizhou; and other exchange and field trips; and so on. 

Till now, the School of Big Data & Artificial Intelligence has always been focusing on the students’ capacity of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, University-Industry connection & interactivity in depth and width, educational practices and shared responsibilities for civic engagement and transformation, and more.

Based on the concrete issues or research questions on policy agenda, AXHU teamwork has and will translate its own disciplinary feature and youthful energy into shaping exemplary models in compliance with the Chinese rural revitalization programming in the new era.
