Teacher’s Day Celebrating at AXHU School of Art

Paying tribute to the year-long dedication and devotion of AXHU faculty and staff, the extensive collection including over 130 artistic works themed with “Artistic Conception in Perception” was on view at the AXHU Center for the Visual Arts on 2024 Teachers’ Day, which was moderated by the executive dean XU Cunfu at the School of Art.

After a welcome address by the Dean JIANG He, AXHU vice president DAI Xin inaugurated this event—accompanying with applause, cheers, and merry music.

The attendees include Anhui Xinhua Group leaderships, AXHU assistant president WANG Qijin, heads with AXHU Department for Teaching Affairs, Department of Science and Technology, Center for Quality Education Research, and the faculty and student representatives across AXHU.   

During that, the audience—presenting their best greetings to AXHU-wide faculty at the special moment—spoke highly of the great of the magic creations and discoveries, and encouraged current students and faculty members to work out more impact masterpieces to promote diversity & inclusion initiatives.

Furthermore, this special exhibition can also shape new creative spaces for the School’s faculty and students, catalyze the internal teaching reform via high-quality artistic production, step up the construction of local academic communities at the next level, as well as enhance the social impact by their own disciplinary advantages, with which they go beyond conventional categorization instead to employ new ideas, tools, and materials, such as digital solutions, innovative techniques, national culture of excellence, aesthetic sensibility, and lofty spiritual pursuits. Consequently, they record high year by year, such as the faculty SHENG Jie’s watercolor painting “Iconic Memory on Red Wall” and CUI Yang’s “Living Through Five Thousand Years” at the 14^th National Exhibition of Fine.

Over the past years, the School charted its own path to a world of possibility of fostering a diverse campus culture, and has always been exploring and connecting available resources to make full preparation for nurturing a promising AXHU community.
