On May 26, “Changchun International Automobile City & FAW Logistics Cup” The 8th National Contest on Logistics Design by University Students (NCLDUS) Award Ceremony came to an end, successfully.

Specifically, AXHU Business School “FORWARD Team” of Logistics Management, C’25, won a third prize at the national disciplinary competition, which marked the new embodied educational perspectives in this area.

Today, the event has become a top-level “workshop” to gauge the innovative capacities and practical skills of the university students majoring in Logistics nationwide, which is jointly hosted by China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP), Changchun Automobile Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee, FAW LOGISTICS CO., LTD., and CHANGCHUN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF AUTOMOBILE.

Starting on Nov 1, 2023, it has brought approximately 50,000 candidates together at more than 500 higher learning institutions, and through the gradient competition series, over 3,400 fellow members join its national final 2024.

Under the sophisticated tutorial teaching by the School’s faculty HE Xiangjun, GAO Lin and others, the five-person FORWARD Team displayed their resilient team spirit and sound professional strengths during the past 7-month high-intensity training or field work, which is filled with their innovation ideas and creative wisdom, especially in the iterable applied schemes and high-efficient transformation based on their effective learning outcomes featuring the academic priorities and optional extras at AXHU.

“In the face of the ever-changing, intricate market situations, the edge-cutting technologies, such as big data, cloud computing, and more, mean a lot for sharpening the future enterprises’ competitive edges in certain industries,” the captain SHI Zeyan concluded meaningfully.

Based on the core concept of both fostering the applied, innovative talents and  integrating the current education systems of Logistics into industrial development in the real world, the educational experiences will continue to deepen its pedagogical understandings and internal teaching reform-and to prepare the high-quality talents featuring sustainability, innovation, and upgrade, which can impact the Logistics industries in the new era.

This prize-awarding engagement has been widely recognized by a range of leading academic institutions, industrial experts, or peers and various others, specifically on the teaching modes and practice-oriented focuses implemented by AXHU Logistics education.

In the coming days, the School should have insights into the Industry-University  collaboration on R&D solutions, but highlight its own teaching reform and innovation at the same time, and will be dedicated to educating a larger community of high-quality Logistics talents who may challenge any critical problems and question at the industrial level.
