On May 16, 2024, Inter-University event on Intl. Ed. R&D took place at Hefei University of Technology (HUT), which was moderated by the Director of HUT International Office ZHANG Si-hong et al.

The visiting administrators and scholars include Vice President of Anhui Xinhua Group (AXG), also General Manager of AXG International Division, Executive President of AXHU Board of Trustees, WANG Xiao-wu, along with AXHU heads of the Department of Planning & Development, the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, the School of Urban Construction, and more.

Beginning with his welcoming address, Zhang’s statement announced the recent data and information about HUT-wide proceedings and studies on changes to the international education, such as its disciplinary construction, approaches of fostering high-quality talents for the global community, and more. And Wang next briefed the current status of international educational development and innovation driven by AXG initiatives.

Candidly, all the attendees conduct an in-depth, open-ended discussion on the pressing issues of how to realize the high-level educational innovation and creativity in the recognition of each highly distinctive culture across the globe, such as cooperative education policy by region, master’s and undergraduate programs special for international students, the endorsed accreditation and evaluation systems by the MOE, education providers assessment, culturally responsive teaching, evidence-based affordances, and customized solutions for nurturing the current students’ international vision at Anhui-area higher learning institutions as well as training organizations.

Synchronously, they sincerely hope to establish a long-standing AXHU-HUT network of dedicated partners to test their ideas while challenging the concrete questions and problems of our times in this field.

Moreover, Wang pays a visit to the five AXHU alumni at HUT, who are still studying its master’s programme-and are inspired to lead an active life, to realize their academic career at a higher level, and to make more positive contributions to the rapid development of their own nations, HUT, AXHU, or other undeveloped regions worldwide.
