On Jul 7, the POLITEKNIK NEGERI MALANG (POLINEMA) vice president Ms. Ratih and its International Office chief Ms. Hilda, as well as Indonesia Institute of Language (Beijing) president Mr. Samuel, paid a visit at AXHU.

And AXHU Executive Vice President WANG Li along with the relevant heads of the departments and schools, including the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, School of Accounting and Finance, School of Urban Construction, School of Electronic Engineering/School of Intelligent Manufacturing, and School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, cordially met and discussed with these visiting leaders and experts on the international educational cooperation and intercollegiate collaboration.

During this summer event, on the behalf of AXHUers, Wang extended her heartfelt welcome to these distinguished guests and presented the “portfolios” covering the history of AXHU, today’s basic conditions, priorities and “edges” in the areas of higher education in China, as well as tomorrow’s prospects with future-proof efforts. Correspondingly, Ms. Ratih provided with the necessary data and facts about POLINEMA in Indonesia and Ms. Hilda detailed its current international educational projects and path-breaking approaches. Based on the information of the current undergraduate programs and strengths of the teaching staff at each school offered by AXHU’s heads, respectively, the two parties conducted a bilateral consultation and exchanged views of cooperative plans and operations in the near future.

At last, Wang and Ratih reached the AXHU-POLINEMA Faculty-Student Exchange Programme Agreement, through which the faculty, students and staff of the two universities can substantially realize an array of academic practices and innovative research and cultural experience.

As shown, the POLINEMA ranked 4th among the top comprehensive public universities of science and engineering in Indonesia. Thus, two universities can benefit from the long-range potential collaborations in the areas of teaching, research and culture communication within the framework of Belt and Road Initiative of China. Most importantly, AXHU can learn from its exceptional outcomes of teaching and research to do more contributions to the educational development locally and globally.
