Recently, at the 2026 event of sports dance, co-organized by CHINA STUDENT SPORTS FEDERATION (CSSF) and the People’s Government of Zhaotong City,Yunnan Province, Team AXHU achieves the third place of team competition, and two gold, four silver and three bronze of the professional finals in Group-B of Category-C, while displaying the AXHU-based students’ sportsmanship uplifted with constant pursuits in virtuosity and struggle for excellence as well as teamwork efforts throughout such competitive but mutually respectful engagement of “learning from each other.”
Bring together more than 160 university delegations across China, all the specialized members together experienced a time of scaling up to the “summits” both for their own breakthroughs and for the domestic college students’ level of sports dance in general.
Sided by the AXHU School of Art professors YAN Jingming, FANG Ming, ZHENG Ruixue, LIU Shuai, the AXHU student delegates’ success came, facing off the pressure from not only the high-level competitors, but also geographically high altitude of over 2,000 meters above the sea level, performing out of what they want to be of elegance, power, beauty, precision, and passion... blended into an exhilarating and harmonious whole, and also winning a wider breadth of positive recognition from the judges and audiences there, meanwhile, at the same time setting a new record in the history of AXHU Education.
There are no isolated routes for these awards to happen successfully at the national level—being not away from the AXHU administration’s attaching importance always to innovation education practice in a controlled environment and a handful of scientific solutions, for instance, to translate the policy of “competition-based training for betterment” with a well-conditioned three-level cultivation system at the department of Dance Performance of the School of Art, including the top-level ones staying fully ready for any national events to come; intermediates for provincial level; and the primary trying on the campus and municipal platforms, which had had discovered a good road of preparing talent going up at a pretty steep gradient.

The record-breaking engagement with nationally top competition series, AXHU people too take center stage where the AXHU Education to expand its shining results over the recent years is subject to public critical reviews but permanent generosity as wide as possible, put in place the practice of impact as a “local, applied, and high-level higher learning institution,” deepen pedagogical, educational reform and intensify the current students’ comprehensive redevelopment, and much more disciplinary visions and the ongoing construction in the future, such as with big idea of “our world dazzling with magic dance” prompted by the Department of Dance Performance, to raise up the AXHU-wide youth students’ confidence of scaling up to her or his acme of academic career via AXHU programs refined in progression. So the AXHU’s chapters of high-quality evolution would have been marked splendidly for the history of Chinese national education innovation in the new era.
