AXHU School of Foreign Studies’ combination efforts to achieving much big showstoppers of the national disciplinary competition

Yet. Stepping up throughout the first half of 2026, the current students aided motherly by faculty members totally won 177 awards, moreover, which made some sorts of educational breakthroughs clearly marked in the history of the MOE-based disciplinary competition programs—53 national-level, 7 provincial-level, 117 AXHU-wide—while to some extent initiating the innovative teaching and critical research of foreign languages during tech practice era across the national higher education institutions.  

Always challenging many of the “peak” competition events—while actually facing off many real-life difficulties—mostly themselves with a multiple social identity as a daughter, a mother, a housewife, but foremost as a famous college teacher vibrant and amiable to be displaying the faculty members’ actual teaching-level and quick-thinking transformation outcomes in general at the school, such as thoughtfully and generously caring by the side of the English major students XU Hong and JIN Aimin standing out and both achieving the gold at the finals of National English Competition for College Students (NECCS), and during The 28^th “FLTRP ETIC Cup” National English Debating Competition (East China), when heading for the playoff series along with other 126 delegation teams from Chinese higher education, LI Hang and CUI Mengxi won the silver after overcoming the “stranglehold” of the competition exchange time on-site, and at The 31^st China Daily “21^st Century Cup” National English Speaking Competition finals (Anhui), current student WANG Jing edged out the AXHU-wide screening series at first while mostly benefiting from the School-initiated Training Camp specially set out by the administrative innovation program policy beforehand, with being good at professional manipulation—being fluent, clear, accurate, calm, of well-toned intercultural adaptation, and much more—over the prepared/impromptu speech in oral English matchups and rivalry knowledge so overfull of hers to earn the second prize and with that as a qualifier toward the national semifinals, and furthermore, a first-prize of the “Kou-Zi-Jiao Wine Cup” 7^th Hui-Culture International Communication & Translation Competition was achieved by student YUAN Bingbing.   

Upholding the AXHU-type idea of “competition-driven teaching, learning, and practicing,” amid the fields of foreign languages teaching and research blazing with its much more innovation results and multiple values-featured modern educational practices already, comprising, for instances, the regular internal screening mechanism + tutoring dynamics + expert faculty grouped by program + the mass mobilization for refilling the “I-can-do” passion plus its scientific support continuously to consolidate the learners’ own language “basement” and professionalized applications anyway + widely embracing international visions.

Viewing these academic outcomes when enjoying the 2026’s AXHU campus-scape in the early autumn semester, the happiness of educational “harvests” sweetly nurturing all the youth staying up with their own romantic dreams when gathering in AXHU community leading up to any higher academic platforms, who are willing to come closer, step onto competitive arena, and try for the places as high as possible.

So, the AXHU School of Foreign Studies administration, next, shall continue to deepen its educational reform measures to make the “classified and stratified” teaching greatly important with regard to the students’ comprehensive abilities and to enable the innovation and transformation of AXHU-branded Foreign Languages teaching impact increasingly on the MOE’s internationalized talent initiative in the China’s new era.
