On the morning of Jan 30, 2026, the executive vice president WANG Li and the director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, also senior advisor of AXG International Division, XU Ming, and other staff members, visited the AXHU international students lodging on the main campus during the winter break, bringing them the auspicious wishes from the AXHU-wide leaderships, faculty, and staff, while celebrating the Chinese New Year across China.

Meeting happily with these foreign students from Nepal, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and other nations, Wang and Xu came for helping them have an easygoing, homelike time of Chinese New Year Celebration—greeting, chatting and making wishes to each other, as well as caring for some de facto concerns which can be scheduled to continue their academic hits on the special occasions.
“Being always around you, we, actually being like your families behind the scenes, will back all the international learners’ progress all time on the Chinese academic tour that might have made many differences to a new life.” Wang said.
“Being here afar from homeland, you are now growing up to become younger adults with responsibilities and duties as we could see well on AXHU campus that have already happened as lively as you could feel too, perhaps, just couples of months later... But the ‘safety and security’ of campus life will forever go first as for AXHU-based work culture, while the students’ ongoing academic advancement when running on timeline through your lines is also its key part, uncompromisingly!”

Moreover, after giving the ‘HAPPY NEW YEAR Big Gift Packs’—filled warmly with many of Anhui-style food specialties and other life-study necessities for much more assistance in convenience during the winter break, to these foreign young students, they did interculturally experience a different taste of Chinese festive traditions in person for the first time, the wholehearted treats were expressing the AXHU community’s international friendliness in hospitality and attendance, equal, inclusive, and homely, to support all the incoming younger scholars from around the globe.
All were enjoying such moving moments of being pleased beyond description, and these international students themselves say thanks from the bottom of heart and congratulations to the great future of AXHU Education that also belongs to them who landed just right in some disciplinary areas of expertise in central China.
Although we some of AXHU international students didn’t return home this time and, whether for actual or other reasons but in the “extremely blessed” wintertime, choose not to be together with our own families and friends as usual, the warm-hearted AXHU’s greetings, exclaimed an Indonesian student SU Xiuhuan苏秀欢named in Chinese language, made us have a different kind of “happy feel” amid the China’s biggest festival celebration.
All in all, we are here because of “enjoying AXHU career of our own” to stick around for elaborating and ‘engraving’ the most important part of our youth that was fully spent to be lighted in China’s higher education preeminence.
“The comprehensive management service and support has been already scheduled to guarantee that expectations to lead a safe, positive, cozy and unforgettable life while throughout the winter break lodging on-campus, including Theme Class Meeting series, 24-hour emergence aids, food & housing conveniences, and other priorities involved,” Xu detailed there, merrily adding that a Chinese New Year’s Eve-style “Family Reunion” dinner is waiting for all the international students—which is reserved as the humanistic tradition of AXHU international education through many years.
A time of warmest meeting happy with heartfelt greetings to stay connected closely in wintertime made the international students have more ‘belongingness’ feels in person of being a part of the AXHU International Education community environment’s historic goals within viewings on humane act for a shared future.
