Recently, as one of the Chinese honorees at the award ceremony of “2021-24 National Mass Sport Individuals of Excellence”—the Topmost Honoring 2025 co-hosted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the General Administration of Sport of China, on the list is the PE teacher ZHANG Aichen majorly because he had always gotten a good workout of both teaching each on-campus class of his and going in with the mass fitness exercises that broadly intersect with the health of the neighbouring communities, during his AXHU career mainly based on the AXHU-initiated “Sporting for Be Well.” 

Running every four years just for highlighting the masses’ special contributions to Chinese rejuvenation in new era, the year’s proceedings that work according to the democratic principle of “OPENNESS, JUSTICE, FAIRNESS” featuring bottom-up ratification and all-China selections—the decisions made by consensus with majority voting.

Always, AXHU administration focused its PE-related educational practices on an organic combination with the mass exercise or entertainments and competitive games, during that a raft of wins had been claimed by AXHU people at many of the national-level sport events in recent years, such as ‘Three-peat’ accomplished at the 5th Chinese University Hockey League (CUHL) in Dec, 2024, and in the behalf of Administration of Sport of Anhui Province—historically, recording highs, Team AXHU claimed the silver medal at 2024 Ice Hockey National Men’s Championship.

AXHU-wide educational commitment to conducting the internal teaching reform of many positive consequences according to MOE’s talent policy pioneering the comprehensive drive in the national higher education process, like, via Wu-Yu-Bing-Ju五育并举of ‘Morality, Intelligence, Wellness, Aesthetic, Diligence’ and San-Quan-Yu-Ren三全育人of ‘All-in Engagement, All-around Education, All-time Solutions,’ is to work out on its 2025-26 agenda also.

As one of the national honorees, who culminated in the lighting of their flair and craft of sports services mostly for the masses’ ‘Be Well’ quality life sponsored by swathes of pro individuals staying concerted and active in the official organizations and units nationwide, like, teacher Zhang Aichen was according to MOE’s content services for overall performance in “Vigor China,” and the AXHU Education+ also came naturally to such thematic actions in the recent years, with its behind-the-scenes, ongoing efforts on AXHU campus and beyond, which will continue to follow-up and do as much as possible for the Chinese new era’s development and improvement on the national strategic route.
