Interculturally, breezing to a time of humanistic self-actualization in the midst of AXHU community, scenting with a crisp air of 2025 Autumn’s harvests and produces to feast those young sinologists of 28 from foreign countries, such as Mongolia, Indonesia, and Bangladesh, who while studying their AXHU undergraduate programs in China, were met with such friendly, naturally invigorating hospitality at the Hefei City’s Shu-Feng-Wang residence community, where a culture exchange event entitled “World Families Living in Unity of Greatness and Primeness” went off as scheduled.

Specially, some acting leaders and staff with the city’s Social Work Department and the Foreign Affairs Office and its districts’ Social Development Bureau and the CPC committee, and other sectors, attended the intercultural gathering there.
While alike in an ambience of Chinese traditional festive celebrations, those international students were feeling at the extracurricular activity between cultures and as the first persons by the community organizations’ vigor, warmth, attitudes, not just to interpret but also put in places the core value of China’s co-development initiatives on the grounding.
Steeped in Gala-like engagements like with ‘inside joke’ stories-sharing, chattering side-by-side, one-up gaming, and wildcard entertaining times when they can mostly share their own life experiences in some inventive ways, and other cultural approaches, anyhow, to shorten psychological distance and then bridge the exotic cognitive gaps is to bring together much more young people raised up in different territories and to connect each other from the perspectives of Chinese nationals’ narratives of inclusion, tolerance, coziness..., and the likes in hope and a light to co-build a shared future.
The international students, vividly, generously, and passionately interpreted and performed their own national culture elements such as the Indonesian folk songs having a fresh smell of sea winds and Mongolian traditional ballads wafting across the vast pastures, plus some of classics reciting in Chinese poems.
A repository of intercultural knowledgeable connections plus their versatile translations throughout such performing arts is shaping lifetime ties to each others’ aspirations to grow a romance of shared future.
Co-hosted by AXHU School of International Education and Shu-Feng-Wang Community Service Center, the exchange activity aimed to help these incoming students from afar to have a concrete IMAGE of Chinese society, and some of them said: “The friendly populations living in a peace-loving pursuit and as the first person to commit the country’s allegiance to the shared world make us have a feel of home-like warmth within the huge glamour of Chinese cultural connotations as well as the masses’ hospitality in earnestness and harmony.
“Also, this is a memorable learning experience based on the Chinese studies program we are now engaged at AXHU while into the local communities this time, the time-honored humanistic landscape thriving increasingly with our common understandings of how to make the conceptual framework of sustainable development by countries just through hand-in-hand efforts and heart-to-heart links between cultures.”
