China University Jump Rope Championships 2025

The 2^nd edition was running successfully, from Jul 3 until 7, at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE) gymnasium, and the Team AXHU showcasing their ‘whiz’ talents and progressive commitment on the sporting field, won two gold, three silver, and one bronze, as well as specifically claimed the one of the most import award “Sportsmanship Excellence” at the team competition.  

Co-sponsored by the CHINA STUDENT SPORTS FEDERATION (CSSF) and the SUFE administration, this renowned event brought together over 700 student-players from nearly 60 universities and colleges based on 20 provinces or autonomous regions and municipalities of China, such as Anhui, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Hebei, Chongqing, Guangxi.

Looking like a time of ‘Fitness Parade’ across the national higher education efforts, the 2025 SUFE event provided new perspectives with both the mentors and mentees to amplify their own PE-related potentials, to deepen the friendships for more disciplinary exchange and cooperation, and to embrace a shared future that they want to promise the splendid career of the younger generations.

Ahead of the finals, HE Yamei, deputy director of AXHU Gen Ed Department, along with the head coach of the AXHU Jump Rope Club YUAN Lin, reviewed and recommended 13 current students at the schools and departments for the glorious college-level journey.

Featuring their pro performance being of harmony in motions, hearts and minds, so the first placement of Single Rope Speed Relay 4×30 was achieved since by AXHU team, including YANG Qianqian, CHEN Ke, PAN Dingyuan and CHEN Mengting, tied with SUFE team and the Shandong University.

As the gold medalist at the Single Rope Individual Freestyle competition while interpreting the sporting celebrations also with AXHU’s CHEN Mengting’s performing in uniqueness, creativity, elegance, and progressive ideology, and more, she was standing on the top podium, next to the other two winners of silver and bronze medal, respectively,  coming from Shanghai DianJi University and Guizhou Normal University.

And “thanks to our AXHU people of excellence and the multiple community full of diverse opportunities and challenges, where I have right as a college student to anything I want to do in the Chinese new era,” Chen speaks in an official interview.

“Now, I am pursuing my ideals on the college agenda and do believe: ‘Sweating—I would be—but having no regrets ever in my life,’ meanwhile, hoping that our younger fellows nationwide can mark a splendid chapter just like the achievements in the sport area of Jump Rope, today.” 

Benefiting from the AXHU’s administrative dedication and the high-level academic mentorship based on the PE Department, those young delegates are already coming up with the new breakthroughs on the long track, and ready to meet with each other at their career summits.
