AXHU President ‘Reception Day’

On Wednesday afternoon, Apr 23, the university held the "University Leaders' Reception Day" event. Provincial Supervisory Commissioner and Party Secretary of the university, Di Jianwei, Vice President Li Jinxing and Wang Qijin attended the event. They held a face-to-face discussion with student representatives, responded to students' concerns on the spot, and solved the urgent, difficult, worrying and pressing problems.

In their talks centered around a record number of current students’ interests and concerns, such as teaching management, student affairs, infrastructure construction planning, logistics service, safety and security on campus, the chief staff members by departments listen to, record, and give feedback and explanations carefully, thoughtfully and in details.   

Doing such a ‘situation room’ much favors, Li speaks highly of the students’ attitude, responsibilities, dedication to public good and a new journey of AXHU Education, and stresses that the AXHU administration will continue to put the OBE-specific educational meaning into the student-centered improved routing and tangible output-oriented labor scheduling, which should be always based on all-members’ everyday practices and endeavour to take action with great strides in today’s positive mega environment as well as its major situations across international higher education.

Plus, carrying out an escalation of library, college house, information construction, disciplinary competition is evaluated as the key parts of high-quality development to speed up in the near term, and AXHU community will combine and coordinate all the available resources “to improve the level of educational management and service, to dissolve efficiently, dedicatedly, and heartily the essential cruxes, and to make all the students have a deep feel of self-esteem, self-fulfillment, self-belonging on campus,” Wang said.

At last, Di expresses his heart-felt thanks to the students’ selfless, long-ranging, far-reaching, and sweeping efforts and suggestions to support all AXHUers’ future excellence, and stresses as the follows:

According to their questioning at the time while thinking of high levels, which will be converted and included—from the top to bottom—into the holistic AXHU solutions to debut from 2025 to 2026.

But the all-member engagement with the ‘Reception Days’ program—serving as Window Service Series benefiting for the masses—will be clearly stipulated as a normal, long-term operation mechanism across AXHU administration.  

Closely, adhering to the CPC Central Committee’s eight-point decision on improving Party wholes, throughout optimizing the form, enriching its contents, refining their approaches of feedback through various types of interaction, our education providers must undertake the new era’s mission to fulfill much more down-to-earth exercises.

Inherently, Team AXHU is stepping up the determination with the largest combined  endeavor in confidence, and is going to co-write a new chapter in ‘first-person narrative’ and to mark another celebration of the great renewal of the Chinese higher education.

This AXHU-wide initiative unique for deepening and plowing through its educational reform and innovation, launched by a dedicated host of students, staff and faculty members, acting managers, and heads, such as with the University Office, Department for Student Affairs, Department for Teaching Affairs, Center for Information Construction & Development, Library Office, School of Culture and Communication, other administrative divisions of the schools and departments, and more, aims to widely listen to each AXHUer’s ‘heart voice,’ which is wowing to escalate, evolve and celebrate a more beautiful AXHU existence in our best times.
