The ‘Soft Power’ 2025 Rankings of the Chinese Private Universities and Colleges, also formerly known as the “Listing of Chinese Top Universities in Comprehensive Strengths,” which is intersecting with professional, objective and transparent assessment and accreditation in this domain, started with its forays nationwide in 2015, and has already become a branded solution of impact by and on the educational evaluation and social support across China.

With a 360-degree inspection and oversight over the educational efficiency and transformation at the current Chinese private universities and the affiliations nationwide, the MOE’s new assessment system of ‘Soft Power’, which now is paired with 37 Parameters, 104 Indicators, and 392 Variables, weighs in some of the internal elements, institutional commitments, and critical conditions, such as schooling levels, disciplinary potentials, core strengths, external resources, academic staffing in size and structure, science research innovations, public good services, high-end talent, impactful programs with achievements, pedagogical edges while at international competition, and much more.

According to the official statistics released by MOE administration, there exist over 800 private universities and colleges, among which approximately 400 institutions are recognized and authorized to grant undergraduate degrees to the candidate students in some academic areas.

Thankfully, Anhui Xinhua University—ranking 19th as of Jan 1, 2005—enjoys a full history of bountiful educational resources, high-quality learning experiences, as well as a massive number of top-level teaching and research outcomes by AXHUers’ concerted efforts over the past decades.
