AXHU 2024 Intl Students Evening

Gathering to ring in the year of 2025, a ‘celebrating AXHU big family’ event, also award ceremony, went off well at AXHU Studio, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., Dec 24, organized by the AXHU School of International Education administration, where a number of AXHU impact people, honorably, such as executive vice president WANG Li, Department for Student Affairs director RUI Ping, Department of Logistics deputy director SUN Daofang, Department for Teaching Affairs deputy director SHI Lingli, the faculty and staff in the School of International Education and the International Exchange & Cooperation Office, some domestic students at the AXHU INTL. Guild, and the current international students, and dozens other faithfuls, all saw in the New Year’s festivities at AXHU yard.   

After a countdown light show, a stream of characters and scenes compelling with AXHU all-season impression is streaming live on the screen, especially for those clippings of international students’ campus life experience in 2024, bringing in the ensemble celebration emblazoned with their own culture-style avatars as well as iconic national resemblances.

Amid the melodic background music, Dean of AXHU School of International Education Prof. Fan Dongsheng delivered a New Year message, and the deputy dean CHENG Yi pronounced the list of AXHU 2024 Star International Students on site.

Being embellished with a glamour in the bright apparel of Southeast Asians, the folk dancing in lilting ballad, adroit movements, and body languages illuminated the New Year decorations by AXHU students from Indonesia, conjuring the audience together to heat up the first hour.

College Houses manager WU Fang ushered in the “Home-Like Residence” award section, which is of the prominent ones hailed as a great success in “Inclusion, Solidarity, Companionship and Friendship,” while sharing an inspiring sphere in multiple cultural flavors, imparted with their distinctive favor on AXHU community.

The Mongolian student ambassador’s Khoomei, a musical style in throat-singing in harmonics, —as if we saw the people herding sheep on the grassland, beside the Orkhon River—, echoing over a vast of bountiful prairie, dotted with their white tents under the azure skies...   

And Ms. Shi awarded the certificates of “MOST Active Members” to the positive, creative and passionate international students, who engaged themselves in the on-campus intercultural contacts and exchanges at the student associations and clubs. 

Broadly applause resonance conjugating in tunes with Guzheng, Chinese plucked board zither, played with the Mongolian student’s singular understanding of the indigenous cultural element being for centuries, a kind of astonishing acknowledgment for AXHU international education on the world’s universal harmony come true in more ways—because just the academic identity and attainment is not enough, which is composing a new prelude of reception merriment in spirituality.

The “BEST Advance Award”—delivered by Mr. Sun—is special for those creatives characterizing with effective efforts and steadfast attitude, who are willing to change, grow, and scale up career goals after goals.

To be continued, an English song performed by Indonesian protagonists was expressing the youngsters’ inner world, offering fresh insights into how to foreshadow a well-meaning existence in variety and colorfulness.

The “NEW Star Students” accolades, presented from Ms. Rui, hoping the current members would not only tap their own intellectual and physical potentials to maximize the academic outcomes by AXHU programs, but act as the aspiring influencer en route to the career excellence.

Reaching the pinnacle of the gala of success with the Mongolian students’ performance  on condition of prime, vibrant and exotic dance sensation, appealing the unknown number of full audience.

Afterwards, Wang presented the honorary credentials and souvenirs as well for the “TREASURE” International students, who engrossed themselves actively on AXHU campus, 2024, such as in the areas of academic projects, cultural communications, and social activities of sorts.  

And “the students’ devoted efforts and constant achievements better-than-expected impressed and inspired AXHU staffers to forward international education promotion and innovation in the new era, and to provide effective support and high-quality service for more academic outcomes and positive consequences in the year of 2025,” Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Office XU Ming concluded while looking back lots of ‘destinations’ and eventful moments in the history of AXHU international education.

Finally, a snapshot of the ‘AXHU big family’ taken to describe a time of college life will be able to stamp, rejuvenate and ramp up in a way that they continue to make history together.

This cross-culture celebration is also a performance-enhancing opportunity of boosting cultural exchange, diffusion and integration, enriching their learning experience ever to mark new splendid chapters while at AXHU education, bridging cognitive divisions via general knowledge, lifelong friendships and common vision.
