The 5th International University Student Voice-over Competition, organized by CHINESE COLLEGIAL ASSOCIATION FOR VISUAL ART (CCAVA) and Communication University of Zhejiang (CUZ), gets it all started in the Keqiao District of Shaoxing city, Zhejiang, China.
The Broadcasting and Hosting undergraduate CHEN Yujie, C’ 28, at the AXHU School of Culture and Communication, co-led by the faculty ZHAI Chunxiang and XIA Yan, won a third prize in Commercials Design and Production.
Based on the preceding editions, this year’s great artistic fiesta—recording yet another high with its history—rocked a large number of new sparkling looks, gaining traction among higher education institutions, governmental agencies, social media outlets, which was feted with 13,760 works from 412 universities and colleges.
Nearly 700 individual members competing amid the finals, grouped by Commercials, Documentaries, Animations, Film & Television, and International Agent, the council voted the prize-awarding works, highlighting something like the linguistic fundamentals, pervasive language, audio effect, sound image, diffusion coefficient, etc.
Professionally, CHEN’s release in more ways, ranging from incisive theme description, fashion-forward reporting on stage, to vivid telling & voicing imposed on the advertisement characters, commanded not only widespread praise with that, but also what the young AXHUers strive for in this field.
The education providers at the School adhere to a philosophy of “Competition-driven Practicing, Learning and Building” by all members, who are transcending and challenging themselves with the so-called “impossible” after broad swaths of academic deliberations for those formative years, where they are warmly behaving in “Responsibility, Diligence, Exertions and Sincerity” to embrace a bigger world.
