On Nov 8-12, the finals of 2024 Competition set out at Hainan Tropical Ocean University and the faculty members PENG Xia and ZHANG Zongqiao at AXHU School of Electronic Engineering/Intelligent Manufacturing were awarded the first prize and third prize, respectively, while recording AXHU-wide higher in this field.
Organized by the CHINA EDUCATION SOCIETY OF ELECTRONICS (CESE) and its Pundits Board of Electronic Circuits Teaching & Industrial Outreach; MOE Teaching & Research Group for Virtual Constellation Courses in Electronic Technology & Electronic Circuits; and National Higher Education Institute for Electronic Technology Research, the event aims to ensure the current faculty members’ career goals and high-level teaching abilities toward the next level on campus. Entirely, which has also been included into the data source based on the China Association of Higher Education (CAHE)—referring to the ‘Research Report on National General Higher Education Faculty’s Teaching Competition’ and the ‘National General Higher Education Development Index for Teaching Capacities’—as the parameters of educational dynamics and potentials at China’s university community.
With a total of 358 young educators at 173 universities and colleges across China, the comprehensive assessment and rankings by the expert panelists are coherently subject to the individuals’ effective engagement and factual innovations, professionally comprising the instructed contents, teaching methods & tools, Ideological and Political Integration, enabling interactivity in classroom, and more.
Also, looking inside the teaching abilities of excellence, full involvement in front of the cameras, as well as transformation-driven performance on the ground, the AXHU faculty achieved a historic landmark on the proceedings.
With the opportunities anyway, the School’s leaderships have been committed to taping the faculty members’ grand potentials to be acting as the leading models during the period, championing them to chivalrously take over some new pedagogical concepts based on down-to-earth educational practices, deepening the reform for classroom teaching via honing the “Edges” of every specialized course to secure a high-quality execution of the undergraduate programs, by which to engine the AXHU-wide innovative engagement that may power a large community of high-level faculty and practitioners at AXHU.
