To secure quality services for new students, the AXHU administration deployed the 2024 work plan designated and in details.
To the exact content, both the leaders and chief staff at the schools and departments thoroughly executed routine inspections in person over the nuts and bolts of the working team’s dynamics on campus, which is also against the emerging questions and issues with regard to the student-centered risk management in the new era.

The CPC members’ impact role for warm-hearted services
This year, AXHU CPC members are acting as exemplary pioneers at Move-In Coordination Stations led exclusively by the Party committees’ secretaries at the school level, where they execute the residential and hospitality program including student tour guide, on-boarding registration, checking into homelike dorm rooms, AXHU’s orientation, meeting at Fraternities & Sororities, and more.
“We are to learn from those CPC members of excellence so as to provide the comfy boons for these 2024 Newbies,” said ZHU Qingshan unhesitatingly, also a candidate CPC member, who now is a third-year student engaging with his English Language & Literature undergraduate program at AXHU School of Foreign Studies, working as one of the veteran coordinators at the station.
This year boasts over 1,300 AXHU-wide student volunteers, who are responsible for helping carry suitcases, baggage or groceries, F&Q Front Desk, Move-In Trailblazers, signs and tents, and more.
Few years ago, stepping onto the vibrant campus land beside the lush Dashu Mountain Forest Park, “a community of then-newcomers with goals were bearing a montage of romantic imaginations from the bottom of our heart, while biding farewell to high school study and life...loved ones, pursuing any possibilities to discover magic, beautiful and inspiring things,” a senior student HAN Xu at the School of Culture and Communication recalled emotionally, who was sweating to operate out transition services at the reception center near AXHU west gate. “And till now we are changing and changed to earmark as ‘better people’ amongst AXHU community, acceptably.”
A creative design for “Day-One Clock-In”
Correspondingly, the 2024 Meet-Up activities in person at “Clock-In” posts are fully packed with the cultural traditions and features, reflecting each school’s specialties & concentrations in the academic areas, which has become the 2024 beginners’ first-ever impression of AXHU’s humanistic and natural scenery, forever.
AXHU Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) Ruihai I-II, displaying at the tents of the School of Electronic Engineering & Intelligent Manufacturing RUIHANG Engineering team, who had fulfilled the testing cruises driven by the current students’ creative solutions and actions on the YuanJiaShan waterfront of Chaohu lake in Hefei, could well launch the freshmen on a new career.
To update infrastructures throughout the summer break, the complete renovation and maintenance project of AXHU Logistics Department was fully staffed to work out the high-quality study and living conditions for the class of 2028.
Additionally, AXHU officially released the “AXHU YARD ON PALM” mobile app to facilitate the new students with the informed instructions and well-tested access online, by which they can process the most part of the Move-In registrations beforehand.
Today and Tomorrow—Benefiting from your generosity
At the end of August, those refreshing Buddies clustered around the yard—booming in favor of the new “Buds” between light green leaves and pink blossoms.
“Our university community enjoys much more beautiful icons alongside its amazing people awash in sunshine!” HU Niping, Radio and Television Media first-year, marveled at this Move-In experience.
Cheerfully, “there are a good number of well-suited facilities and convenience stores on campus, where we are offered one-stop service, such as shopping, snacking, hairdressing, health care, fitness training, and other cultural activities,” said TIAN Chunrui, who will trek up her Electrical Engineering & Automation career at AXHU. “Today, thanks going for every senior student volunteer we meet all the way, whose real-life interpretations impress us warmly all the time.”
“AXHU Yard is home to your college dreams, where can help expand your visions, knowledge, and research findings in areas,” Mentor XIA Jing wished. “But now ‘we are families!’ standing up to the future’s challenges yet opportunities, together.”
By all accounts, the first-year students get down to making a difference from this academic year: “Right away! Let’s just start out the AXHU Voyage to embrace a splendid Tomorrow.”
