Recently, AXHU delegation led by the executive vice president WANG Li met with the Universiti Malaya (UM) president Azuan along with his senior management team at Beijing, and signed a strategic alliance agreement, which marked a new chapter of international creative cooperation in the new era.
During the conference, Wang, being on behalf of AXHU administration, presented the information of the school-running, disciplinary structure, some new achievements of teaching and research, which can practically reflect its uniqueness and strengths in the higher education field, and highlighted the creative approaches of improving the quality of education and communication based on international exchange and cooperation to deepen mutual understandings, by which to expand the opportunities of AXHU-UM impact collaboration at all levels.
And Azuan shared the UMers’ earnest expectations to expertly establish a long-term stable relation in the ‘branded’ spaces via development efforts in a broader domain of higher education across the globe.
Moreover, the two parties have a further discussion on the contents and solutions in detail, which focuses on the areas, such as academic exchange, visiting scholars programme, undergraduate summer/winter program, international student access priorities, and so on.
Being in a general consensus, they will put every item on the joint agenda in place and push the boundaries in perseverance, by which to nurture the massive quantities of intercultural talents of excellence and to grow the high-quality world builders and contributors across the international higher education communities.
The signing ceremony will not only build up a broader platform to steer common progress in higher learning, but also inject vigorous energy into realizing the higher education exchange & cooperation in both China and Malaysia.
