2024 Spring Campus Food Health and Safety Action

On Feb 28, AXHU authority held “the 2024 Spring Campus Food Health and Safety Oversight & Management Meeting”, which includes KONG Xiangxin, deputy director of the Market Supervision Administration of the Hefei Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee, also the committee Party secretary; HE Xingjia, AXHU vice president, also general manager of the Campus Food Health and Safety Board; WANG Wenjin, director of the Food and Medical Products Administration of the Hefei Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee; LING Hongbo, HUA Nana, chief staff of the Market Supervision Division of Boyan District; a few of campus canteen managers; all the staff of AXHU Logistics Department, which was moderated by the Department deputy director SUN Daofang.

 

In the beginning, Kong positively confirmed what the AXHUers worked on and achieved in the areas of campus food health and safety in the recent years, and communicated the relevant demands and directives, issued by the Hefei Municipal Market Supervision Administration and the Anhui Provincial Education Department, including the ‘2024 Special Act for Campus Food Safety,’ ‘Data and Documentation of Campus Food Health & Safety Inspection & Management’ (e.g., bulk commodity procurement, food additives, epidemic prevention, and statistical books, sheets, templates, letter of undertaking), and more, by which to secure all the staff members involved are committed themselves to safeguarding the campus food health and safety in the new era.

 

Meanwhile, “AXHU administrative department can conclude its practical, creative solutions in this field, and propagate the innovative achievements in the near future, which could be expanded city-wide,” he expected sincerely.

 

On the behalf of AXHU, HE Xingjia extended his thankfulness to the Market Supervision Administration leaders at all levels, who directed and supported the AXHU-wide food health and safety construction for many years.

 

Clearly, “AXHU will strictly implement the governmental progressive policies of consolidating this special work to avoid any hidden hazards to health on campus, combining with a system of ‘Daily Oversight, Weekly Inspection, and Monthly Survey’ and a mode of ‘Multilevel Supervision and Comprehensive Management’,” he noted.

 

In addition, SUN Daofang delivered the quarterly department work report at the meeting, “From the start of 2024 spring semester, the AXHU Comprehensive Management Actions went off as planned, effectively, spanning the professional lessons and training for the internal catering staff, public hygiene, raw materials, equipment replacement and maintenance, quantitative assessment of campus-wide 113 businesses or service units, as well as the rectification measures.”
