Networking, Supporting, and Moving forward, Together:

The CPC AXHU working group at Wangqiao Community

On Nov 10, 2023, to deepen the Rural Rejuvenation by introducing the strengths of the CPC members and the field-defining research of higher education, and to secure a complementary network and mutually beneficial high-quality development of CPC-building at the grassroots level, AXHU leaders, including resident secretary of the CPC AXHU committee DI Jianwei, AXHU assistant president SHAO Ling, and the CPC members of AXHU School of Accounting and Finance, conducted field trips around the Wangqiao village, Zhegao township, Chaohu, Anhui province.

A beautiful natural landscape spreading an area of 12 square kilometers in east Zhegao township, Chaohu city, the village is appearing in the bio-diversity conservation and pleasant climate beside the lush hills and nourishing rivers, where is home to over 2,500 residents (in 22 villager groups of 18 ‘natural villages’).

Over the past years, both rural construction and comprehensive management were widely recognized and also achieved many honors in the field, such as ‘100 Beauty Villages of China,’ ‘National Pilot Unit for Comprehensive Rural Management,’ and ‘Anhui Model Village in Democracy and Laws,’ and so on.

During public visits from the ‘Origins’ Hall, Village History Museum—the former site of Chaoxiang County Government (in 1931-45), Credit Supermarket, Edible Fungi Industry Park, Gualou Planting Base, to the photovoltaic power installations of 2,000 mu (approximately 133 hectares) over the hills, and more, all the members, along with the secretary of the CPC Wangqiao Village Committee LIU Shujie, are engaged in the ‘China Beauty Village Action Initiative’ and personally witness its success on local burgeoning industries and sustainability.     

Analytically, to generate the highest throughput in either theories or practices from higher education, an agreement (combining with ongoing support of high-quality Party Building) was reached by the representatives—the secretary of the CPC AXHU School of Accounting and Finance committee PU Mingyue and the deputy secretary of the CPC Wang Qiao Committee, also its Supervision Committee director ZHOU Tintin—, therein, including the pilot programs: Collaborative Effort for Party Building, the Center for Labour Education and Practices, Base for “San Quan Yu Ren” Social Practices, and Base for “San Xia Xiang Initiative.” 

Being in line with the Party-building drive with concerted efforts in the new era, AXHUers are in their quest to build strong connections and reciprocal partnership within AXHU community and beyond. In the followup, the CPC AXHU committee will catch a ride and discover a long-term, common, and transformational mechanism via its deeper analysis and extensive investigation to conduct the local engagement projects and research in process, covering the finance-powered rural industry rejuvenation, credit cooperatives, paired support and regular services, aids and poverty relief for public good, online financial risk management, investment and startups, finance consultation services, and much more.
