Global partners meeting at AXHU

Ratified by the People’s Government of Anhui Province and the Anhui Provincial Education Department, the 2023 Forum on the Development of Education Internationalization in the Post-Pandemic Era initiated by AXHU successfully run on Mar 30, 2023 (2:30pm to 5:30 pm) at both the AXHU International Communication Cloud Platform and the AXHU Hall International. The global partnerships in the Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Mongolia, Poland (incl. the presidencies, administrators, agents, etc.) and the AXHU vice president Wang Qijin, heads of the relevant schools and colleges or officeholders with the administrative departments participate in this event (distance or in person), which is moderated by the AXHU International Exchange and Cooperation Office Director-General XU Ming.
To begin with the cordial greetings and keynote speech, “... the current educational conditions and the 2023-2027 Strategy of AXHU for growing at the nexus of the successful internationalization of higher education, and AXHUers will learn about the innovation modes, edge-cutting solutions as well as structure design from those partner universities to resolutely address the existing problems and questions after COVID-19 pandemic, by which to refactor and engage and drive itself to the next level,” said Wang on behalf of AXHU Administration.
After that, the speakers with the universities or international agencies aforesaid take the floor to discuss and contribute with their own thoughtful initiatives and groundbreaking advises, respectively, involving emerging challenges, interior drivers, global situations, local practices and adjustment and alignment as needed in the areas of higher learning and training institutes, so as to uncover the hidden pathways, unleash any potentials, spark new ideas to open resources and to design framework(s) for much more down-to-earth collaboration being in line with constructive dialogue and empirical research and field work, institutionally and strategically.
And Mr. CHENG Yi, the deputy director of AXHU International Exchange and Cooperation Office, delivers a research report entitled Exploration and Practices of Education Internationalization in the Post-Pandemic Era, which shares the AXHU’s educational progress and concerns during/after the pandemic with other conference members and presents some understanding and suggestions for the concept of “Education Internationalization” in the new era.
Adhering to a guideline of “To Explore and Examine, To Reflect and Optimize, To Support and Advance,” this international forum aims to promote the evolution of education internationalization, to maintain its sustainable development and to achieve the evolving goals in the near or far future.
