//* Introduction to AXHU School of Accounting and Finance
The School of Accounting and Finance is founded in 2015, its forerunner is the Business Faculty of AXHU, which has run 5 undergraduate programs till now, i.e., Financial Management, Accountancy, Auditing, Economics and Finance, Internet Finance (concentration in Financial Technology). In 2019, ratified by Anhui Provincial Education Department, the School becomes a pilot unit (of the third batch) included in the MOE Initiatives—“Concerted Education, Through-Course Schooling, Multi-Dimensional Cultivation”—for Comprehensive Educational Reform.
And the Specialization in Financial Management of the School is granted the provincial-level “Pilot Major for Comprehensive Educational Reform” and “Educational Plan for Excellent Talents Cultivation,” and, coupled with the Seetao Science and Technology Co., Ltd., co-builds the “Cloud Financing Industry College” to jointly educate the undergraduate students with respect to the future of digitized, intelligent Cloud Financing.
The Specialization in Economics and Finance is shortlisted into the Anhui Provincial First-Class Construction Unit (“ShuangWan” Planning, also known as the Dual First-Class Majors by MOE), and the Provincial-level Educational Plan for Excellent Talents Cultivation.
And partnering with the state-owned securities companies with limited liability, the School builds up the Financial & Commercial Industry College, and the Jointly-Built Education Base for Future Investors, and, along with the AnHui Internet Finance Associate, China Construction Bank (E-banking Business Center) and otherwise, the Strategic Alliance for Fostering New Financial Talents to co-educate excellent financial engineers.
The specialization in Accountancy is approved “Educational Plan for Excellent Talents Cultivation.” Running the specialization in Internet Finance, the School becomes one of the six “groundbreaking” higher education institutions of China (of the first batch), and its concentration in Financial Technology is ratified within the framework of AXHU Key Majors Construction.
The School boasts a strength of tenured faculty and staff, and has more than 200 teachers, in which the percentage of the senior academic tiles is up to 46.6%, and 95% of the members obtained master’s degree (of which, doctorate recipients in %: 12%). Since 2015, the School has facilitated its 15 scholars to participate in academic touring at home and abroad, 75 teachers (of which, dual-qualification teachers in %: 61.8%) to practically conduct self-improvement at the social enterprises. Over the past three years, holistically, the competence of the faculty grows increasingly, and they have been engaged with more than 100 academic projects, and undertaken more than 30 cross-disciplinary projects, and published 200-odd papers in the areas of teaching and scientific research.

Based on the three “Three-In-One” educational formats to foster applied talents, the School proactively implements a consolidated architecture of schooling (incl. future career, specialized courses, certification and diplomas, and disciplinary competition) to cultivate a large number of high-quality professionals in the areas of accounting and finance, who are with international horizon, patriotic spirit, innovative momentum, and so on.
In recent years, the outcomes of its seven teaching reform projects are awarded by Anhui Provincial Education Department or AXHU. Through years of educational reform and can-do practices, it has structured a system for fostering high-caliber talents. Currently, there are more than 4,000 undergraduate students at the School, who, besides the mainstay learning in classroom, positively make themselves involved in a spectrum of after-hours activities or events, at culture community, sports fields, students clubs, or off-campus non-profit organizations for common good.
Prominently, the undergraduate students actively engage in kinds of national- or provincial-level disciplinary competition or science-and-technology contests and relentlessly record higher year on year, which involve in more than 6,000 events each year. Moreover, some graduating students have become the members honored in “Start-ups Model,” and sets an appealing example for other fellows or early-career, and they are widely and warmly welcomed by many of social enterprises and sectors. In general, the employment rate is up to 92%.
The School has had 11 centers/labs of experiment and practices: the Center for Economics and Management Comprehensive Training, Training Center for Shared Financial Service, Virtual Lab for Financial Technology, Comprehensive Training Center for Intelligent Accounting, etc., and grown 4 scientific research teams: the Financial Research Institute for the Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Inclusive Finance Research Institute, Research Institute for Corporate Finance and Financing Constraints of the Micro, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, Research Institute for the Value Creation of Private-Run Economy. And the total value of the teaching instruments and equipment costs 19 million yuan. In process, it has established an array of closely collaborative partnerships with 10 plus leading-edge enterprises, such as the Seetao Science and Technology Co., Ltd., GUOYUAN SECURITIES COMPANY LIMITED, China Construction Bank (E-banking Business Center), and co-founded 20 on-campus or external training bases, in which both the AXHU-Seetao Practical Teaching Base and the AXHU-GUOYUAN SECURITIES Practical Teaching Base are certified as the provincial-level University-Enterprise Cooperation Base by Anhui Provincial Education Department.

FANG Danni, the CPC member, receives both the master’s degree in Education from the Anhui Normal University and the master’s degree in Science from the Bangor University, who now is named mentor at AXHU School of Accounting and Finance. In 2020, Fang was awarded the title “AXHU Outstanding Staff.”
In Sept 2018, Fang joined the Institute for the Psychology of Elite Performance, Bangor University. In 2018, Fang worked as the James Hardy’s assistant to conduct the research projects at the Manchester City F.C.: Self-talk of Soccer Players in Games or Training. In May 2019, Fang participated in the 3rd Wales Sports Science Conference and delivered themed speech there. While studying for her degree, Fang published the paper: Research on Putting in Place the Targets Set for Sports Rehabilitation Based on the Principle of “SMART”.
Guo Yu, the CPC member, was graduated from the Anhui University and received his master’s degree in Social Work. The honors and prizes of his include the “Advanced Individual of AXHU First-Year Seminar 2020,” and, of the School of Accounting and Finance, “2021 Outstanding Contribution Award (for the Cause of both the Communist Party of China and the Communist Youth League of China)”, and “2021 Star Teacher of the Ideological and Political Education”.
XU Huajuan, the CPC member, Human Resource Manager (level-3), was graduated from the Anhui University and received her master’s degree in Social Work. Today, Xu is named the chairman of the first division of the CPC Students Committee of AXHU School of Accounting and Finance.
In 2015, she was awarded 1 prize of Anhui Provincial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students. In 2017 and 2018, Xu got herself involved in the third-party evaluation many times of the Anhui Provincial Poverty Alleviation Programs. In 2019, Xu published her academic paper: Research on the Social Work-Driven Community Education—A Case Study of B Community Services in the City of Hefei, Anhui Province (also the dissertation for her master’s degree at Anhui University).
Yang Jing, teaching assistant, was graduated from the Hefei Normal University and received her bachelor’s degree of Arts, and was graduated from the Southwest University and received her master’s degree of Arts. At present, Yang works as the mentorship of the AXHU School of Accounting and Finance, and teaches the content courses to undergraduate students comprising Future Career Planning of College Students, Analysis of Video Works, and also directs several AXHU-wide research projects.
GU Xueying, the CPC member, master’s degree in Chinese Ancient Literature, lecturer, nationally certified psychological consultant (level-3), is now serving as the mentorship of the AXHU School of Accounting and Finance, also general secretary of the first division of the CPC Students Committee of AXHU School of Accounting and Finance. The honors and prizes of her comprise “Advanced Individual of AXHU First-Year Seminar,” “Most Beautiful Guide of the AXHU School of Accounting and Finance,” 1 third prize of the AXHU Skills Competition for Mentors, “Best Style Award,” and 1 third prize of “Research Outcomes Competition for AXHU Staff (in the areas of creative writing and psychological health education),” and completed lots of AXHU-wide research projects (member) and published several academic papers.
ZHENG Hui, the CPC member, was graduated from the Anhui University and received his master’s degree. Currently, Zheng is now serving as the mentorship of the AXHU School of Accounting and Finance, and earns the “Excellent Award” of the 8th AXHU Capacity and Skills Competition for Mentors.
Hu Jingjing, the CPC member, master’s degree in Law, lecturer, is serving as the mentorship and takes office as the general secretary of the second division of the CPC Students Committee of AXHU School of Accounting and Finance. The honors and outcomes of her include the “Advanced Individual of AXHU First-Year Seminar 2013,” “2013 Excellent Papers Awards” of the 2nd AXHU Skills Competition for Mentors (with her research paper—A Study of University Campus Culture under the Guidance of the University Spirit), Research on the Campus Culture Innovation of Higher Education in the Era of New Media (published in 2013), the second prize of the AXHU School of Business Skills Competition for Mentors, the capstone project of 2015 AXHU Research Center for Well-rounded Development of College Students—Research on the Humanistic Cultural Education for University Students in Theories and Practices (member), the work Villages in City by Chen Yao, a current student majoring in Financial Management (Class 4, enrollment of 2013), is granted excellent award at the 6th Anhui Provincial Creation and Innovation Competition for Millions of College Students from 100 Higher Education Institutions in Anhui Province (mentor), the work, Positive Impact—Say No to Behavioral Misconducts by Song Yuhan, a current student majoring in Financial Management (Class 5, enrollment of 2013), is also granted “excellent award” at the event above (mentor).
He Wei, the CPC member, lecturer, is serving as the mentorship and also takes office as the general secretary of the third division of the CPC Students Committee of AXHU School of Accounting and Finance. The honors and academic outcomes comprise a bronze medal of “Kunshan Flower Bridge Cup” the 11th Anhui Provincial Career Planning Competition for University Students, helping the students awarded the project of Anhui Provincial College Students Entrepreneurship Program, teaching the content course to undergraduate students, such as Career Guide, Future Career Planning, Fundamentals of Business Start-ups, publishing the papers including the Innovative Development for Student Management in the Era of Information Technology, Thinking and Exploration of the Student-Assistant Mentors’ Work and Practice of the First-Years, and participating in the scientific research project “Research on the Risk Prevention against “Campus Loan” in the Framework of the Credit Evaluation Systems” (member).
Fan Xiaojuan, female, the CPC member, bachelor’s degree, lecturer, nationally certified psychological consultant (level-2), is serving as the mentorship of AXHU School of Accounting and Finance. The honors and achievements include the “Excellent Individual” of the AXHU First-Year Seminar 2013, 1 award of 2016 Anhui Provincial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students (mentor), a number of academic papers and the project “Research on the Integrity Education Systems for University Students in the Law-based Society (member).”
Su Rongping, the CPC member, master’s degree, lecturer/mentor (intermediate), was graduated from the Anhui University of Finance and Economics. The honors and achievements include the “Advanced Individual of Anhui Provincial Career Guide,” “Excellent Mentor of Anhui Provincial Institutions of Higher Education,” “AXHU Moral Pacesetter Staff,” “AXHU Teaching Achievements Award (with people-centered concept to underpin career services of excellence),” the first- or third-prize paper at the provincial level in the area of students career development, several textbooks (co-author) and many awards of the competition/contests across different levels for college students (mentor).
Zhu Min, the CPC member, bachelor’s degree, lecturer (intermediate), is serving as the mentorship and also is named the chief member of the CPC Staff Committee of AXHU School of Accounting and Finance and the general secretary of the fourth division of the CPC Students Committee.
