An all-new trip to Anhui Ancient City Shouchun

On the afternoon of Sep 22, AXG vice president, also chairman of AXHU Board of Trustees, WANG Xiaowu-led AXHU administrative team, including the executive vice president WANG Li, AXHU Office director PU Mingyue, International Office director XU Ming, executive dean of School of Accounting and Finance WU Shan, Science & Technology Department deputy director ZHANG Hansheng, AXHU Alum Office deputy director SUN Shanshan and others, headed to the jurisdiction of Shouxian County寿县 (formerly named Shouchun寿春—literally, Longevity and Springtime in Chinese) in the city of Huainan, Anhui, where the County’s CPC secretary, also prefectural governor, SUN Qizhi, and the vice governor WANG Sumiao, as well as some of chief executive members with the governmental offices and agencies, received them officially and warmly.  

The AXHU’s research group of culture and education aims to learn about the local historical culture heritage and its reservation especially for the local cultural tourist industries’ resilience prepared for the tomorrow.

After the field trips working seamlessly, two sides continued an exchange meeting at the Conference Center of the People’s Government of Shouxian County, which was moderated by the Secretary Sun.  

During that, President Wang briefed the AXHU’s mission and value, disciplinary strengths, talent policy, social functions and regional services, and otherwise, and proactively initiated a wider range of point-to-point cooperation programs to build up a “NEW Anhui” with a strong presence, featuring in the cultural tourism, joint educational practices, sci-tech transformation, international outreaches, and more.     

And Wang Li furthered the time of hot discussions, putting forth a package of measures, approaches, and trends to guide the future activities by solutions that will be working well under all-in, all-out, and then all-win conditions.  

On the platform of Education-Industry-Culture of having an immediate binding force to activate a new climate of rural rejuvenation, the integrated development design sets out a two-way realization for mutual benefits throughout the all-win procedure, which has provided practice directions and given advisory opinions on how to constitute the talent groups as many as possible, and to maintain ongoing productivity via duly authorized approaches to connect more sustainable resources in multiple locations.

“The end-to-end interactivity between Shouxian-based governmental organs or private sectors and AXHU community,” WANG Sumiao believes, “is going to begin a type of scholarly argumentation for innovative transformation in the dignity and worth of the local people’s faith and aspiration for a more beautiful Anhui of China.”

“Thanks again to AXHU people’s earnest visit,” SUN Qizhi repeated subconsciously, adding, “the government-university cooperation space could have been expanded later, such as many of ideal outcomes arising from the comprehensive localization construction, academic culture tour, ‘RESTORE programs’ of break time to vacate leisurely at the natural and humanistic scenes, the cooperative base and its joint programs on the ‘white lists’ to cultivate clusters of excellent talent, sci-tech transformation and innovation, the AXHU Alum Personnel channels and conduits, as well as other alternative contents during the in-depth cooperation.” 

All of it, WANG Xiaowu responded reciprocally according to the strategic agreement by the two sides’ signataries, stressing, “based on AXHU education’s eternal mission, the collective efforts would help promote the Shouxian-area culture and industry structure to the next level, institutionally while introducing the MOE-led overall educational value into the exact social actions effective by AXHU-based current talents and disciplinary attempts to underpin regional reform and development in the new era.”

After the exchange tour, the AXHU administration is to materialize those action plans, and gets ready to pave the solid step stones to let the deep cooperation and wide collaboration to go a long way.
