Working Well: AXG’s civic engagement based on close observation

With the Chinese Belt and Road initiative, the AXHU delegates took an ice-breaking tour of “international education observation” at Thailand and Indonesia on Dec 11-18, 2024, which includes AXG vice president WANG Xiaowu, also director of the International Division, and its general manager WANG Yating, the Clinical College of Anhui Medical University executive vice president MA Qi, AXHU assistant president SHENG Xiaoqing, deputy director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office CHENG Yi, and others.

To ensure the joint efficient efforts staging in the context of international higher education, the 2025 summit, also a signing ceremony of “Campus + INTL. Interaction Planning,” organized by both the Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce and the Department of Commerce of Anhui Province, concluded with the higher education program: China-Thailand International Education Base by the AXHU and the Chiang Rai Rajabhat University Tuesday morning, Dec 12, which honorably includes deputy Secretary-General of the People’s Government of Anhui Province LUO Guangyong, lieutenant governor of the Department of Commerce of Anhui Province YANG Benqing, vice chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce to Thailand LI Guixiong, and dozens other distinguished guests from around the world.

Also, at the invitation of Rajamangala University of Technology and the Chiang Rai Rajabhat University presidents, Wang’s work group paid a visit to their main campuses, respectively, where both sides have a series of discussion on how to conduct further collegiate cooperation and collaboration.

And the Indonesia’s Kalimantan Timurand Governor Dr. Akmal met with the AXHU delegation, on Dec. 16, during which Wang shared a brief history of the AXG as well as its affiliates and other subbranches across China.

As the Indonesia’s new Capital-elect, Kalimantan Timurand is still under construction.  “Welcome more impact corporations and businesses worldwide to envision, invest, co-build for a modern multiple metropolitan via a community of visionary pioneers and developers, such as AXG people, who have always been dedicated to the international higher education strategy in cultivating high-quality applied talents by regions,”  according to Akmal.

Accompanied by HE Tao, the chairman of Anhui Chamber of Commerce at Indonesia, also director of Anhui Bureau of Economic Relations with Kalimantan Timurand, and the secretary of Kalimantan Timurand’s Department for Investment Mr. Fami, they were going on field trips to a selection of local companies and infrastructures as in effect behind civic improvements in Balikpapan, Samarinda and Bandung, and to the educational organizations excellence, such as Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia,Kalimantan Timurand University of Technology, as well as the best private university in Indonesia Telkom Univeristy.

To expand the opportunities within the cooperation framework of the Belt and Road, by action-packed engagement and data-based verification by countries and communities, and for more development experiences of inclusion, innovation, and transformation, the AXG 2025 administration is now on the road.
