CHINA ORIENTAL—ORIENTAL CUP CHINESE DANCE CONFERENCE

The International Dance Open 2024 Hefei debuted on Sunday, Dec 1, 2024, at Anhui Sports Center, which was curated by the China Oriental Performing Arts Group and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hefei City.

Two traditional forms of dance edited and delivered by AXHU School of Culture and Communication faculty and students, respectively, won a gold and a bronze of the Chinese Classical Dance team competition and the youth competition(of institutional members of higher education).

The production event at national level includes more than 2,000 advanced dancers with 100+ official organizations, federations or associations across the country, and 21 delegates at Chinese higher education institutions.

The day-to-day efforts to revamp with some fresh ideas over the always-improving editions before the Conference, which was artistically buttressed by the faculty GONG Shuning and CHEN Peng to appropriate somewhat to themselves at the rehearsals, just only offering the best possible student-performers experience of what the heyday of professional presentation of excellence is expected to bring in: the agile group dance Dreaming For Millennia to DunHuang 如梦·敦煌by the current students WANG Wei, ZHU Lingling, LI Fan, FAN Xiaoqian and NIU Le -and JinSe 锦瑟soloing by WANG Wei, which surprised the gymnasium crowd with some disciplinary standards as well, and stole the show on the road to the apex.

Siding with an artistic understanding of immersive, cultural experience in that context, while learning and training by a ‘propriety engine’ to prompt such exchange opportunities of promoting student growth in practical skills and capabilities to transform amid ‘Competition-driven Exercises and Studies’ of all kinds, the School’s pedagogical path accessible to WuYu五育—Moral, Intelligence, Wellness, Aesthetic and Diligence, a philosophy of ‘Students First’ educational commitments in need is helping those younger talents’ career goals go so higher that they couldn’t fail any challenges in the evolution of impact industries across all levels, but might come to be pioneering a spectrum of world-changing solutions available to global people in the near future.
