From May 29-Jun 1, the Mongolia’s IDER University delegation led by the president Dr. Zorigt, also chair for Board of Trustees, visited at AXHU.

The leaderships with Xinhua Group (XHG), as well as AXHU’s major administrators, cordially greeted the visiting guests at its main campus, including: Vice President of XHG WANG Xiaowu; Executive Chair of AXHU Board of Trustees CHU Guoding; AXHU Executive Vice President WANG Li; AXHU International Exchange and Cooperation Office Director XU Ming, etc.

In Room 608 of AXHU Research Building, conferring the relevant IDER-AXHU programs and other targeted cooperation started at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 30.

At first, on behalf of XHG & AXHU, Mr. Wang addressed welcoming remarks and described the policies and conditions and potentials, and Mr. Zorigt did that of IDER University. Correspondingly, Director XU Ming detailed the concrete actions and solutions for the initiatives and joint programs.

Sequentially, chaired by Ms. WANG Li, an inaugural ceremony celebrating for the founding of both IDER-AXHU Center for Chinese Language Education and IDER-AXHU China-Mongolia International Institute, is launched remarkably.

During the 4-day visit, the distinguished leaders and academic staff from both IDER and XHG & AXHU visited the educational infrastructure and environment, especially for some of AXHU schools’ key labs, research centers or workshops (of the Students’ Affairs Department; Department of General Education; School of Business; School of Culture and Communication; School of Urban Construction; School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence; School of Art, etc.), and, as audience, enjoyed together the artistic performance and sports events by the current undergraduate students. Also, Zorigt himself obtained an unusual campus experience—cycling shared bike along the AXHU boulevard and racing China’s Dragon Boat on the Ruqin lake. In the following day, they all headed for the XHG’s affiliate institution, Clinical College of Anhui Medical University, where to conduct relevant field works and academic investigation as well.

To a large extent, the mutual trust and understanding is deepened with this friendly people-to-people communication and intercollegiate constructive dialogue in the new era. Meanwhile, the wide-ranging recognition and far-reaching impacts and great achievements in the areas of interdisciplinary construction and professional creation driven by AXHUers’ dedication over the past two decades and XHG’s international strategies impressed these inspiring, dedicated and acclaimed educators from IDER University.

At last, Mr. Zorigt warmly congratulated XHU & AXHU, and extended a sincere invitation: “We are waiting for you at IDER!”
